WHAT IS THIS CLASS ABOUT?
If you like anime or creating cute characters, this course will show you how to create a style you can call your own and even turn it into a business later on. We will not only focus on sketching, line art, and coloring, but also show you how to bring characters to life. Different choice of programs will also give insight to how your Chibi drawings will turn out in various mediums.
WHO IS THIS CLASS FOR?
This course is for anyone who wants to start drawing Chibis and develop their own style.
You will learn how to transform any character into one with cute exaggerated proportions and find a coloring style that suits you.
WHAT WILL THE STUDENTS ACHIEVE?
By the end of this course, students will begin to develop a Chibi style they can be recognized for on their own. They will also have an understanding of how to position the character and have them interact with multiple characters in a scene. Basic knowledge of the programs used in this course will also be transferable to other similar programs either on the iPad or on the computer.

Hello!
My name is Michelle and I currently work as a full time artist located in Canada.
I began creating my own unique Chibi style since 2012-2013. Around this time I was in high school taking a course that taught me the fundamentals of digital art programs and eventually went to university for architecture.The background knowledge of these programs have helped immensely translating in to my personal work, primarily digitizing my work and sending off to manufacturers to run my online business.
While I had experience with art during school, I am excited to pass down some knowledge to those who have an interest in anime style Chibi art whether or not they are beginner artists!
