I will introduce the process of making precious family clothes (men's clothing).

Hello? It's a story about making clothes, making clothes.

After teaching for a long time, I often saw students wanting to make family clothes (men's clothing) instead of their own clothes. So even though I'm not a menswear expert, I've opened a class so that you can easily experience menswear production!

We will professionally teach you how to measure the human body for sizing and sewing skills, so that later you can pick up a nice dress on your own!

Create a pattern! Step-By-Step from Human Body Measurement~

The basics of everything are important, right? Patterns are probably the most important basis for making clothes. So I'm going to start this lesson by telling you exactly about patterns.:)

You can buy a commercially available pattern, but if you don't have the standard body shape in the book, the pattern may not fit your actual body. Those of you who have experienced it will know. So in this class, I'm going to teach you how to draw a pattern, starting with measuring the human body to measure the size.

You might think the pattern is complicated, but you can understand it by watching the video over and over again. I'll tell you very carefully as if I were right next to you.:) I'm applying a formula to explain the pattern, so once you learn it, you won't forget it.

  • In the class, you will learn the pattern of a pajama top and bottom set (long sleeve/short sleeve), basic pants, pleated formal pants, and a slim shirt/drop shirt.

The next thing you'll learn is cutting and sewing!

After learning the patterns, you'll learn how to cut and sew. If you know the basics of sewing, you can apply any design to sewing clothes!

Before entering the Foundation, I'll also explain “How to Wash Fabric”:)

The photo above shows a pattern being drawn, marking it, and handling the necessary seam joints.

If you draw until the end of the day, you can start the foundation.:) There's no important work one by one, right? It's much easier to sew if you cut it correctly.

Rough, far away! There are times when it comes to contention when it comes to sewing, so be sure to cut carefully so that you don't have to worry about it during the sewing phase.

You'll also learn how to wear a shirt's collar in two ways. It may be a bit difficult for the first time, but if the body circumference and collar circumference match, you can wear it without problems. At this point, if the clothes you cut first don't fit well, don't worry, we'll identify the problem, adjust the amount of room, and show you how to adjust the amount of room to fit your body shape!

After that, I'll show you the details of how to attach buttons!

After going through all the garment making process and finishing a pair of pajamas, you'll feel a sense of confidence! :) We'll also tell you about long sleeves and short sleeves, so you'll also be able to complete seasonal pajamas. With the confidence I gained here, I'm going to make basic pants and pleated formal pants!

Apply basic principles to suit pants!

Technology can be applied inexhaustibly!

Now that I've learned the basics of making clothes earlier, I'm going to move on to the application level a little further. Here, you'll learn how to attach front pockets, back pockets, zippers, and belts to pants, and learn more about how to handle a shirt front placket (short cut), how to handle a yoke, and how to wear cuffs. I learned while making pajamas By adding application skills to basic techniques, you can create a more organized and luxurious costume, right? :) You can look forward to it.

셔츠 트임

Shirt slit, clean like it was made in a retail factory, right? Practice makes it this way! :D

Now buttons, zippers, shirt hem repairs, etc. Starting with a simple repair Formal pants, cuff sleeves You can even make high-quality shirts!

Clothes require a lot of repetitive learning because the work process is complicated. It seems that tenacity grows by itself after picking and pounding, picking and hitting. The most important thing is to try making a lot!! (correct answer) It may be a bit difficult at first, so be sure to practice after some practice.:) If you follow along hard while drawing a pattern with me, and if you don't give up the practice, you can finish the family clothes (men's clothing) very nicely.

We would like to generously share our know-how with you so far, so please support us and participate! :) We'll do our best!

Sew with Me

Sew with Me

Hello, I majored in apparel science in graduate school. I am an incumbent lecturer with both practical and theoretical skills who have been teaching at schools, vocational schools, and academies for 20 years since graduation.

I majored in apparel science at graduate school, and until now I love fashion and have been teaching at universities, specialized high schools, vocational colleges, and academies while walking only one path. The certification is a vocational training teacher (fashion level 2, craft level 3, laundry level 3), clothing engineer, fashion design industry engineer, dressmaking technician/laundry technician/teacher certification, practical skill teacher (dressmaking), and home fashion instructor level 1.

I started YouTube (channel name: (channel name: The Story of Making Clothes) because I wanted to give online lectures, and I still need to learn a lot about editing, but I'm communicating with many people.

I entered college a little late, so I started in my mid-twenties, and I'm pretty middle-aged until now.

Graduate school also had a difficult relationship with parenting after marriage~ so now I'm combining theory and practical skills.

I think they are able to grasp the characteristics of the fabric through continuous effort, and make clothing patterns according to body measurements.

There are tens of millions of designs of clothing in the world, so I think I'll have to keep filling in the shortage until the day I quit this job.

I have loved fashion for a long time and lived with persistence and hard work. Making clothes has many processes and is not simple, so it has come at a high point, but it seems that it will get rough after passing the difficult heights.

Very occasionally, I also donate repair talents!

If you don't sew, it will decrease, and the more you do, the better.

I was there for the first time too. When I entered school, I was afraid of the sound of an industrial sewing machine spinning around. For some reason, my hand seemed to hurt and it was difficult to get close, but I quickly got used to it~ I think I was able to do it because it was fun.

The clothes I made in the beginning were less complete due to the pride that I made the clothes with my own hands, but I think I was able to wear them comfortably.

It's been a long time, and now, if time permits, I make my own jackets and wear them with my own hands~~heh

It is said that there is nothing people should not do, that no matter how talented they are, cannot beat those who try hard, and those who make an effort cannot beat those who enjoy it.

Everyone has a beginning.

While enjoying the difficult situation, I will slowly move forward as if I were picking, picking, and sewing one by one!

I'm doing it while having fun too.

When my mind is upset, I think putting on music and sewing can ease my mind and get organized while immersing myself in sewing.

The certification is a training teacher (fashion level 2, craft level 3, laundry level 3), clothing engineer, fashion design industry engineer, dressmaking technician/laundry technician/practical teacher, dressmaking teacher, dressmaking teacher, and home fashion level 1 instructor.

This year, I'm aiming to become a suit technician.

Please stay tuned for this class for those who want to generously share the know-how and tips I have built up so far with those who want to study fashion and who have difficulty self-taught in making family clothes at home.
