Rika Hanzawa

After 10 years as a store manager and store management at a kimono shop in Aoyama, Tokyo, he became independent. He presides over Kimono Atelier Ringo, which proposes a “kimono lifestyle connected to Japan like Jibun.”

Activities cover a wide range of activities, such as personal dressing, color diagnosis, product planning with long-established manufacturers, vocational school instructors, and event management where you can enjoy wearing kimonos.

I want to share my kimono life with as many people as possible, where I can “be fashionable in my own way” like choosing clothes.

Also, if you wear your own kimono, for example, you can easily spend time wearing a kimono on a 13-hour long flight or a trip. Everyone too

I hope you will experience a comfortable kimono for yourself.

Creator Interviews

Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?

A. I want you to wear a kimono anywhere you like, whether it's a trip abroad, a concert, or a nearby cafe, and enjoy it freely.

The scenery and encounters are fresh.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

A. I was working to sell reused kimonos. Rather than buying and selling reuse, what should you do to inherit the kimono or obi you currently have in your own way? I valued that.

Furthermore, it is packed with essences so that you can not only stay in a video where you just wear it, but also learn how to prepare and check before wearing it so that you can live a “life with a kimono,” and how to move (action) and care after wearing a kimono.
