It Starts From "Yourself" Before You Start Drawing "Your Drawing"

I've been drawing for so long. Ever since I started writing, I've been drawing as a hobby. But I started being conscious about what other people thought of my drawing or following the trendy techniques. I felt like my skills were improving but I was missing my own style.

Then I started to carefully look for what I really liked. I was exploring my taste and trying to express it in my drawing and that's when I was proud to call it "my own drawing." Based on my experience, I'd like to share how to draw something of my own style and taste.

We are going to use Paint Tool SAI in this class, but you can also use Photoshop, Procreate or any other tool you like because this class is all about finding your taste and expressing it.

I'm going to walk you through from the basics of drawing humans to creating your own character. I'll show you how to make a character by drawing different facial expressions, and tell you how to create the character with your style. Which hair style, make-up, facial expressions, and clothing will completely change the impression of your character. We will have so much fun making characters like playing with Barbie dolls!
