Nice to meet you, I'm Umino, a glass deco artist by the way!
I usually create and display glass deco art works based on the concept of “May those who do their best with a smile smile tomorrow too.” This time, I would like to bring to everyone the fun of glass deco as an art that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Why don't you enjoy the glass deco you fell in love with when you were a kid again?
Do you all know what glass deco is?
I think there are some people who drew pictures with glass deco when they were children. Glass deco is an art material that is a mixture of glue and acrylic paint. It is CE marked and can be enjoyed safely by children and adults alike!
Glass deco, a new art material with a sense of transparency and sparkly sparkle ☆
It's not just about adding color! I will carefully teach you how to apply glitter, how to make gradations, etc. from the basics of drawing the edge of a glass deco, which is the line of a picture.
When it dries, it looks like stained glass ✨ It is a sticker that can be attached to a window or glass and peeled off!
If you hold down the basics and expand the range of arrangements, you can draw something you like to decorate a window or paste it on a glass. Have fun decorating your room with your favorite design ♪
“Encounter with glass deco art”
Even if you're not good at drawing, that's fine!
The most important thing about art is to feel fun. In the class, we chose cute characters and flowers as motifs that are easy for first-time users to work on, with the hope that “encounters with glass deco art” will be fun. I have scattered my knowledge of working as an artist into the class so that even those who already know glass deco can discover and learn something new, so please connect it to the creation of unique works!
In the class, we will draw pictures and color with glass deco based on the original sketches prepared just for this time. The edging is done slowly by tracing the sketch, so even people who are not good at drawing can easily work on it.
Speaking of glass deco, it is characterized by its bright colors, but I will also carefully explain tips for choosing colors and coloring. As for glass deco, which is the art material used, it seems that it will be left over even after finishing the class, so please use it for subsequent productions.
Once you learn how to draw in the lesson, you can make an enlarged copy of the sketch and apply it to sticker making like this 💐

As a glass deco artist, I exhibit and sell my works at galleries and department stores in Tokyo. Artists who use glass deco to create art works are rare, and they work hard every day with the sponsorship of Yamato Co., Ltd., which is a manufacturer that sells glass deco.
What I arrived at in order to express my “unique sensibility” in a class when I was a student was glass deco. After that, I presented my graduation work that was over 2m long at Glass Deco, and paved my way as an artist.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?
A. I tried to create a challenging structure that made me think “it's kind of fun even if you fail.” Glass deco is a gentle art material. Even if it's your first time and you're excited, I think everyone will look at the work with a smile by the time it's over.
Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?
A. I want people to feel the feeling that being exposed to many colors will brighten their mood before they know it, and that their mind will be adjusted by concentrating on making things. I would be happy if my encounter with glass deco art would add warm colors to my daily life.
