Learn how to express yourself to create attractive characters
We will proceed with character creation while introducing how to make compositions when drawing pictures and expressions of analog-style textures and colors that can also be done digitally, so you can learn a lot of know-how on how to make stylish illustrations.
The creators themselves are working on creating works with the idea that they want to express a picture book-like worldview that seems to be able to create a story with a single illustration.

Inspired by my friend who is an illustrator active on the front line, I decided to work as an illustrator, and now I am working with a focus on drawing illustrations that emphasize narrative nature. We have received a variety of jobs from individuals to companies to create illustrations.

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do? Please tell me about your teacher!
A. While mainly posting original illustrations of girls on SNS, I also create illustrations of work regardless of whether they are individuals or companies.
Q. How did your teacher start drawing illustrations?
A. My mother has been drawing pictures for a long time, so I was carried away by it, and I have been drawing as a hobby since I was little.
Then, after entering university, I started SNS, found artists who do a lot of creative activities, and now that I can draw original illustrations like this, I want to work in the future! That's when I thought, so I began to practice drawing digital illustrations in earnest.
Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?
A. Actually, in the past, I wasn't good at drawing original characters, and I was struggling with production.
I decided to start the course with all my heart that it would be nice if I could send out even a little useful information to people who have similar problems now.
Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?
A. We are focusing on introducing ways to create original characters without getting stuck as much as possible, and tips for finishing illustrations that can be applied to all kinds of illustration productions.
Therefore, it is recommended for those who are stuck with character design, and those who are worried about not being able to improve the quality of the illustrations one step further.
Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?
A. Look at the original characters and illustrations created using the skills learned in this class and ask, “This is it!” I would like you to be convinced and gain a successful experience that leads to confidence as a creator.
