Hello everyone. I'm Maki Shimano, a calligrapher. I write the characters “calligrapher” in general... for example, I work to design something and teach people how to write characters.
The reason I started calligraphy was a wedding. I started making calligraphy items because I was wondering if I could make the wedding world more wonderful with letters.
Currently, “I want to write it too!” From many voices saying, I use various tools and methods to convey the fun and depth of handwriting in the form of lessons. I would be happy if everyone could feel “the trouble of writing by hand” and “the warm world of handwriting” in an age where digitalization is progressing!
When writing the alphabet, what should you be careful about when writing the alphabet? I will narrow down the points so that even those who are new to calligraphy can easily create wonderful cards.
