The world of bead crochet, where you can knit while enjoying the rolling feel!

Nice to meet you, I'm Kyoko Koizumi, a bead crochet artist.

Every day I create such works that are colorful, cute, and heart-wrenching. Many of the beads I use have a sweet, glossy texture like candy, so I also try to express the world view of sweets in my work.

When I was a kid, I wanted to live in a candy house! I honestly project my innocent childhood feelings, which I seriously thought, into the work. I would like to have a lot of experiences with the spirit of doing everything I want to do without forgetting to be a child even when I become an adult.

In this class, we will make it a curriculum where you can thoroughly learn the process from basic to intermediate to completing a work. In particular, the coin purse is a work that also inspired me to do bead crochet, so I would like you to take a close look at everything from how to knit to the point where the mouthpiece is attached.

In this class, you will learn the basics of lace knitting using crochets. Let's learn the process of putting beads through the lace thread, starting with the beginning of knitting, and putting on the clasp of the clasp.

Try knitting beads by changing them to pearls, try changing the color of the lace thread, or make accessories and accessories with your own original configuration. You will be able to create original works by understanding how to neatly braid beads and how to think about designs.

Making bead crochet items that you can complete while concentrating on yourself with pop and colorful candy beads

The work process for bead crochet is long, and patience is also required. Even if you make an original design, there are parts where you don't know how it will be finished until you knit it, but even in such a situation, you can enjoy the texture of the material and lace thread, face yourself by making it by hand for a long time, and enjoy the process until completion.

Why don't you work together to make an item of your own color completed with brightly colored candy beads?

Q. What kind of activities do teachers usually do? Please introduce yourself briefly!

Nice to meet you. I'm Kyoko Koizumi, a bead crochet artist. It works under the brand name Kyunroom (Kyunroom). I wanted to express the excitement of my heart when it was completed, which is unique to handmade, so it got its name from “chest kyun.” I've loved doing detailed work since I was a kid. I was interested in the world of handmade in a wide range of fields, such as beads, knitting, origami, cloth accessories, and dressmaking, but my main job was influenced by my father, so I have accumulated various experiences as an acupuncturist until now. As time at home increases due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I began to seriously tackle the bead crochet that was sent out on Instagram, and now I can enjoy it every day with my many followers, and I am working hard with a feeling of gratitude.

Q. How did your teacher get started with Bead Crochet?

I was fascinated by this technique, which combines knitting and beads, and I became more and more addicted to the depth of the endless knitting techniques. I had crochet experience, but the first time I tried lace knitting was when I took the course, and I was surprised at how thin the threads were and how fine the stitches were, but I was disgusted by the process of arranging the beads neatly.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

We received a lot of comments from our Instagram followers who wanted to know more about how to make it. When I was doing trial and error wondering if there was a way to tell people who are interested in bead crochet in a good form, it was decided that a course would be offered at CLASS1O1, and I sincerely wanted to create a wonderful course that I would like to create with everyone. The opinions of the CLASS1O1 staff are also very helpful, so I thought it would improve my skills, so I thought I could challenge things I've never done and learn techniques that I can convey to everyone in an easy-to-understand manner.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

In addition to crocheting, beads are knitted, so I think the point is to take a close look at how your fingers move and how to tighten the thread. If you can make crochet works to some extent, I think bead crochet will be easy.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

I hope that through this course, everyone who is improving technology step by step, and I can grow together. There is also a lonely aspect of making things, but I want you to think that they are creating it together with everyone who is taking the course by communicating with messages etc.
