Up a notch! Challenge yourself with well-tailored children's clothing

Nice to meet you. My name is Tomoko.

I learned about general clothing, material knowledge, patterns, and sewing for 5 years at a high school clothing department and a fashion vocational school, and then worked in the women's clothing planning office at an apparel company. Currently, I make well-tailored, elegant children's clothing. Let's sew beautifully finished children's clothing together while sharing dressmaking tips I've cultivated over many years!

The classes were structured so that they could tell people how to finish quickly and beautifully by utilizing sewing techniques cultivated up until now, such as children's clothing that shines with the goodness of tailoring that gives off a sense of take-off, a step up in sewing, pattern arrangement methods, sewing methods unique to children's clothing, etc.

Take it off! Handmade feeling.

For those of you who want to be better at making children's clothing

In this class, you can get used to making children's clothing a little bit and learn basic ways to sew well-tailored children's clothing, with a focus on how to sew ready-made clothes in order to become even better at dressmaking. Also, I will explain in class how to make a lining pattern using the outer fabric pattern of a skirt. You can improve your skills by challenging yourself by attaching it to a lining that seems to be difficult. Also, if you gain sewing skills, you can challenge difficult clothes.

Furthermore, there is even smocking embroidery that can be arranged using basic patterns

Smocking embroidery, also called “smock embroidery,” is a technique in which patterns are created by making folds on cloth and bending them with a thread. Once you've learned the basics of smocking embroidery, let's also learn how to incorporate smocking embroidery designs into clothes and tailoring them.

Also, by taking classes, you will be able to make clothes that match your image. Once you get the hang of it, you can create many kinds of designs with a single pattern. Furthermore, I'll tell you how to arrange it according to the child's body shape. Why don't you challenge yourself as a beginner through this class?

[Creator Interview]

Q. Why did CLASS101 offer online classes?

It all started when CLASS101 spoke to me, and when it comes to dressmaking, the work is finished very beautifully just by getting a few tips.

I wanted to share these tips with everyone and make them fall in love with dressmaking even more, so I started an online lesson.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into planning your classes? Who would you recommend this class to?

I've made it possible to tell you how to quickly tailor, such as basic sewing methods and how to tailor beautifully.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class? Please give me one last word!

I hope that by learning how to sew ready-made clothes, you will be able to sew efficiently and experience the fun of finishing beautifully!

Once you learn the basics of dressmaking, future dressmaking will be even more enjoyable.

Let's take on more difficult challenges together!
