What is the current sorghum forest The theme of “Nature in everyday life”unto Photos and videosAn intangible content work called, productsA type of content work called, and A magazine that introduces photos from various people, We are active in these three main areas.

In this class The subject is the nature around usIt's basic to put it as and capture your own perspective How to shootand the photos bring my feelings How to calibrateI will tell you about The ultimate goal is not just to memorize shooting theory or how to use correction tools, but to understand it so that it can be applied to express one's own eyes and senses.

Also, Create a product with your own photosDo it The process of creating a small brandI will tell you my own story about from my experience as a planner and marketer.

I recommend it to people like this!

  • Those who want to try making products with photos taken by themselves
  • Those who want to expand their photo content and create their own brand
  • Those who want to learn how to retouch photos to add emotion
  • Those who want to record their daily lives with a special perspective through nature photography

Before we get started in earnest,

No matter what you shoot with, an understanding of the camera is helpful if you know it

You can shoot even if you don't know ISO, shutter speed, aperture, white balance, etc., and you can also take great photos with your smartphone. But if you know, you can imagine a wider variety of directing methods and ideas when shooting no matter what kind of equipment you use.

For example, if you shoot with a smartphone, you might think that you don't need to know because the smartphone doesn't have an aperture adjustment function. However, if you understand aperture, it's like you can use other functions or methods to express outfocusing.

Of course, you don't have to master everything about camera theory. Basic camera skills by summarizing the necessary parts to the point where I thought it would be useful to know while taking picturesI will let you know.

In this class, you can fully participate in shooting and retouching with your smartphone. However, for those attending classes with a plan to create a product, and for those whose purpose is to take this opportunity to learn how to operate a camera and develop their own shooting style, we recommend using a camera. First of all, I think it would be a good idea to participate with a smartphone or your own camera, listen to classes, understand more about cameras, and then purchase the desired model of camera as needed.

First, how do we look at it?

First, we start with our eyes.

Whether in an everyday space or on a trip,
Nature that exists all around us anytime, anywhere,
I will capture it on the camera from my own perspective.

Nature is the background and subject that always exists around us anytime, anywhere, and that makes a space that feels similar depending on how we look at it, the most personal and special. Let's think about how to capture today's sky, roadside trees, riverside waves and clouds, and windswept grass and flowers, and capture them on camera. My own perspective starts with an attempt to look at the here and now anew.

In nature photography, there are materials that many people particularly like, such as silhouettes using light, and afterimages that express movement, etc., and I will also share shooting tips on how to better capture these scenes.

I will go from basic theory to shooting methods, including composition, and focus on what I learned by shooting and experimenting with my own shots. Based on this content, I hope you will add your own ideas that can be applied to nature photography.

Second, what did you feel?

I try to imbue the picture with the emotion I felt.

If I captured my own perspective with a photo shoot Correction is a step of expressing the feelings I received when I watched the scene and emphasizing the feeling I wanted to conveyIt's.

In addition to natural correction to make use of the atmosphere, it is also possible to make drastic corrections that are completely different from the original to capture more emotion. You can crop and rotate to create a new scene, or you can revive a photo you thought was ruined by retouching it.

How to retouch with Lightroom and PhotoshopI'm planning to let you know. Instead, in this class The goal is not to memorize tools one by one, but to help them understand how to use each function when making corrections on their ownI will do it with. Correction can't give a correct answer because it's just a bad number, and I have a sense of my own when I try various combinations.

Third, what is the branding required for small brands?

I'm expanding it with my own brand.

Beyond using photos as personal records, I wanted to make them something that we could feel the value of content together. It was an opportunity to create a brand called “Sorghum Forest” and expand the range of products.

Focusing on the process of creating a sorghum forest Methodology for brandingI'm talking about. It can be applied not only to small brands and single-person brands, but also personal branding as a photographer or photo account, and to lay the foundation for side projects.

Finally, the secret to achieving 1000% or more of Tumblebuck?

I'm not a designer or photographer who creates & sells products, but I can do it.

Photography and design aren't my main job, but that's why I understand your needs better than anyone else.

Starting with the things I wanted to “know in advance” while making the product, How to plan products and organize sales channels from the perspective of a planner and marketerWe share our experience and know-how about.

This class It focuses on postcards, but the goal is not to simply follow a single postcard and create one. Postcard as an example From product planning, what things to consider when manufacturing, and how does the overall production process flowI would like to understand it together.

After learning this course, we have organized the content so that you can ultimately create a variety of products yourself. Even if it's not for sale right away, try making it a special item for yourself or a gift for someone special.

In addition, we will also reveal know-how on the crowdfunding process through an example of Sue Forest's Tumblebuck progress, which recorded an achievement rate of 1000% or more.

Side project with photos,

I hope this class will be another opportunity to express myself and grow.

Now that cameras have become more popular with smartphones, I think photography is the most friendly art of expressing my thoughts, tastes, and ideas, which I can try right away as I write.

One of the words I often use when introducing Sorghum Forest “We're supposed to see what we see in the end.”That's it. Everyone too Practice discovering your own perspective and expressing your senses in your own space through a photo class at Sue ForestI would like to be able to do it. I hope you can stitch those scenes well and move forward in whatever direction you like.

Let's grow further in any direction by recording, building, and adding value to everyday scenes. I would be very happy if this class was a starting point for you to try something new. We will support Sorghum Forest as we move forward together.

Hallo I'm Kim Jung-hee, who runs Sorghum Forest, a nature curation brand for urban people. While I work as a content planner and marketer, I am also developing Brand Sue Forest as a side project.

Why does someone think it's natural? When asked, they say, “Because it makes me feel better.” We often say that looking at nature makes us feel relaxed and relaxed. At the same time, it reminds me of the scenery of a distant travel destination that I can't go to or see right now. However, just as there are people who have gone on a trip where we are, there are always good scenes everywhere.

After all, I thought it might be a matter of attitude about what I see here and now, as I pass through everyday spaces.

I think having that attitude also requires practice, habit, and effort. I began to capture the nature of everyday life in the hope that I could feel better by looking for lots of good scenes on my own, and that someone who sees my photos would be able to do the same. Furthermore, I wanted to expand it to something that had value as content beyond personal records, and that was the beginning of Sorghum Forest.

I see a real forest in a forest of buildings

To Each One's Own Forest

One of the words often used when introducing Sorghum Forest is “We are meant to see what we see after all.”

I hope that you will also be able to discover your own eyes in your own space and practice expressing your own senses through the Sorghum Forest photography class. I hope you can keep recording and accumulating them so that you can grow in whatever direction you like. Through this class, Sorghum Forest will practice again and move forward together.
