About the class

This is a coaching class for parents to help them do it with their children. Learn six ways to design an exciting story. This makes me feel like I'm a drama writer, and I naturally fall in love with writing activities. In particular, this course is not just about learning English sentence structure or grammar. This is a course that goes beyond studying to learn creative writing design in English.

(The course was designed so that foreign teachers at Daechi-dong New Media English School watched the English lecture and I explained the course in Korean so that people who don't have enough English can enjoy listening.)

Course effect

• Overall writing composition and planning skills develop by designing stories rather than writing English sentences.
• Being required to describe situations in text alone is highly motivated to learn relevant vocabulary in order to write a good story.
• Since the point of reference of the story is always written in the past, understanding of the concept in English verbs of time increases.
• Instead of just studying English, my interest in English increases when I use what I've learned, and I write English sentences without being forced to do it.

What makes this class special

What's special about this course is that it's a bilingual course conducted in Korean and English by two current lecturers from Daechi-dong, even though there is something special about the topic and content of story design. The sample lecture, which gives the feeling of a field lecture, was made in English by a foreign teacher at our school, not me, and I explained the content of the course in Korean again. Parents and students can focus on Korean explanations if it is still difficult to conduct lessons in English only, and sample lessons from foreign teachers if they are familiar with English.
