What makes this class so special

You will be able to make 5 types of incense

When you hear incense, there may be people who don't have a very good image, such as “incense” for funerals and memorial services.

There are also people who don't like the smell of incense sticks. However, even if you say “incense” in a nutshell, there are various shapes, scents, and ways to use it.

In this program, you can make not only incense sticks, which are major incense sticks as incense, but also a total of 5 types of incense, such as fashionable scented bags and renko that were popular in the Heian period.

Professor Koshi Ishihama Shiori (Ishihama Shiori, an expert in incense blending))

“Hello! This is Ishihama Shiori. I have prepared this “online course” with the thought “I want as many people as possible to know the appeal of incense made by myself.” Currently, regardless of generation or gender, there has been an increase in the number of people incorporating incense as a hobby to enjoy scents, relax before going to bed, or as a means to concentrate and focus on work. “Making your own incense” has a different sense of fun and awareness from “incorporating incense into your life and enjoying it.” Making incense by firmly facing yourself using your five senses is the ultimate healing and purification. I want you to know the appeal of “incense making” like that. I believe that what I have gained through making incense will definitely have a positive impact on your life.”

■Profile

In 2010, I entered the world of incense because I wanted to feel the scent of incense close to me, which I had loved since childhood. I'm fascinated by the “elegant and subtle scent” of my first handmade incense, and I want to share that scent with many people! That makes me think. After going through the Fragrance Shop Karaku Koji Course, which trains experts in incense blending, I started the “One in the World, My Own “Incense” Handmade Course. Professors' qualifications will also be obtained in 2016.

After that, he established Takara Co., Ltd., which conducts incense classes and sales.

“If you look up at the sky, there are three treasures: the day, the moon, and the stars

If you look around the earth, there are three treasures: fire, water, and wind

If you look at yourself, there are three treasures: spirit, mind, and heart

“Takara” is a company born from the desire to cherish the three treasures.”

Currently, courses are being held to “get people to calm their minds with incense, a power item from ancient Japan.” I have taught over 2,000 people.
