Once a life falls apart, it's hard to get back on your feet.

Age, mind, and reality all seem like stumbling blocks.

Me too. My life was shaken when I was 66,

I didn't know where to start again.

But one book, one sentence, moved my life again.

Reading does not miraculously change lives.

though Strength to endure tomorrowGive it, Courage to start overI will hand it to you.

So even though I had fears and hesitations, I went to Class One Five

I decided to try it again by posting this lecture.

Hoping that it will be a small hope for someone rather than a feeling of hesitation

Because my heart was bigger.

This lecture is not a huge story about how reading changes lives,

A lecture to reach out so that you, who are now shaken, can stand up againThis is it.

It doesn't matter if it's late. It's okay if it shakes.

If there's a small voice on one side of your heart saying “I want to try it again,”

That's enough.

That's how I started again, and now I'm standing in front of you at the end of the road.

I sincerely hope this course will be the first step in your recovery and transformation.

It's okay if it's late, it's your time
