This course is not about learning new technologies or complex theories, Designed for those who are unsure how to use the SQL basics they've already learned in practiceIt's done.

“Search and use querybook” : A collection of useful query patterns that can be directly imported and written like a formula, like the title.
Focus on practical applications : After learning basic grammar, it covers how to solve practical problems encountered in actual work situations (data conversion, report generation, etc.).

A dictionary of useful queries for practice

I would like to express my encouragement and support to all of you who have been studying hard against the background of various database environments and SQL. However, I don't think learning, experience, and development all go separately. After learning the basics, they ask them to study further, gain practical experience, and try another field. It's endless, right?

I wish you could stop for a moment. I'm going to cover up the myriad programming languages and tools that are more powerful for a while, and carefully examine my work based on the SQL I've been learning and refining step by step until now. Ask yourself if your work will shine even more when it meets new technology, or whether it will open up a new path.

This course doesn't cover new SQL syntax or new technology. I just used the SQL you've been passionate about in a slightly different way. It's not a big deal once you know it, but it might be the kind of thing you'd have trouble with before you know it. I hope it will be such an opportunity and time to feel the cool breeze while pausing for a while.

This course is for SQL beginners to intermediate A collection of practical tipsIt's the same as More than simply querying data, Ability to create, twist, and process data in desired formsSuitable for those who want to grow”recipe book“It's the same course.

Course target

Those who know basic SQL syntax (SELECT, FROM, WHERE, etc.) but have trouble applying it in practice
Those who want to understand and apply principles beyond copying and pasting blog code
Beginner-intermediate developers or aspiring data analysts involved in IT projects
Non-development workers who only know the basics of Excel and SQL

Learning content

Often used in practice, but not well covered in basic courses 'Data processing and transformation' It mainly consists of techniques.

Use temporary tables: Create and query temporary tables in one sentence
Repeated processing (looping): Loop implementation using a join without a WHERE clause
Data generation: Create a football team, generate random numbers, and use dummy data
Data structure transformation (Pivoting):
- Replacing Row data into Columns
- Replacing column data into rows (Row)
- Split comma-separated data into multiple rows
Date/period processing: Create a list of consecutive dates (used for scheduling, etc.)

Course features

Practice-oriented configuration: It consists of 20% theory and 80% practice, so you can follow along without getting bored.
Visual explanation: The internal transformation process that produces query results Excel tableIt helps to understand by showing it visually through
Mind map lesson plan: It uses a mind map format teaching plan that allows you to see the entire flow at a glance. Students can conduct exercises as PDF files that can copy the content (code) provided in each lecture session.
Essential practical skills: Especially essential in actual work Iterative processingwith Data structure changesI will focus on learning.

Lab environment and player knowledge

Tools used: MariaDB (10.x or later), HeidiSQL
Player knowledge: Basic knowledge of SQL in common RDBMS such as MariaDB or MySQL is required.
