Hello, I'm Onyu, a calligrapher who writes handwriting. I originally majored in piano, but I got my calligraphy certificate and am currently working as a freelance calligrapher.

Oh, new! I'm looking for my own letters

I was first introduced to calligraphy with a brush and got a certificate, but the calligraphy style was different from what I wanted. There was a time when I was in the midst of a lot of trouble because it wasn't the direction I was pursuing.

In the meantime, I started working on an iPad, and I decided to take advantage of the best I have. I wanted to do cute calligraphy that I like and that is easier than colorful and difficult calligraphy. “Onyu Letter,” which is loved by so many people, was born.

예시2 The writing alone was empty, so I drew one or two cute pictures. I'm a person who has never properly learned art, so I don't know how to draw big pictures. It's a very simple and easy picture, but it blends well with my cute writing, and the current ONYU character was born. Friends with very cute eyes and noses often appear, so take care:)

The reality is that with the spread of computers and the evolution of mobile phones, there are fewer and fewer people who write handwriting. However, since we have a romance about analog, handwriting has become a culture among many computer fonts, right?

I think it would be nice to think of incorporating analog into this digital culture. Unavoidably, the post-work of digitizing handwriting was essential, but the iPad and Apple Pencil made the cumbersome post-work easier!

Hello, this is an Onyu letter.

I like cute things, so I usually write cute letters,

I work by drawing cute props and simple characters that match them.

I love writing so much that the time I spend working while writing is a healing time for me. In particular, the text I wrote on the iPad was easy to edit, so it was a much more fun time. For me, iPad and Apple Pencil are friends like game consoles.
