Hello
I'm the illustrator 'Dancing Snail':)
I dreamed of being a painter since I was a kid. However, after suffering from depression and lethargy for a long time, I let go of painting and wander. I wanted to draw pretty pictures, but my paintings only got darker and darker. Suddenly, The relationship between painting and my heartI studied art psychology because I was curious about, and I also worked as an art therapist at one time.
I draw pictures that comfort everyday life
After declaring himself a full-time illustrator, he continued to paint, and his life itself Healing processIt became. What I feel in my heart these days Feelings as pictures I am communicating with the world through expression. <I want to die but I want to eat tteokbokki>, <I want to be alone but I don't like being lonely> I, etc. The picture I drew became a book When I came out of the world, I felt comforted because many people seemed to sympathize with the feelings I felt.
Guachu is a fascinating ingredient
In this class, I'm going to draw a picture using “gouache” paint. What is Guashu An intermediate feeling between acrylic paint and watercolor paintIt's an ingredient that has. It's an ingredient that takes a lot of effort because you have to mix and color it on a new palette every time. But that process is also The joy of manual workI feel like that.
I would like to introduce the appeal of Guachu to all of you. Even if I paint my face lying in the corner with gouache, it warms my depressed heart:) It can also be applied like acrylic paint, so it's much less burdensome than watercolor painting, which is difficult to rectify.
What color do you like the most?
I like the color red, so I often use red as an accent color in my paintings.
The hardest thing about drawing Choosing a sense of colorI think it is. It's a secret, but for someone who majored in painting, I really didn't have a sense of color. So I had a lot of frustration when I started painting again after I let go of my hands for a long time.
I wanted to express my favorite colors in a sensual way while harmoniously arranging them on the entire screen, so I've been trying various methods as if I were heading to the ground by myself. Among the know-how I've learned during such a hard time Just a few tips I'll pick them up and share them with you!

What do you learn?
✍🏼 Learn the basics and find your own painting
I'll teach you step by step, from how to apply paint to how to adjust the concentration of water, to finishing shadows. It's fine even if you don't know anything about drawing, watercolor, or acrylic painting. It's okay if you just look at the white paint with a 4B pencil and make you cry! Drawing a picture with the right answer is breathtaking. I believe that if you start with “nothing,” you will be able to explore your own painting style more freely:)
✍🏼 Draw objects and animals simply
I really like the slightly rough texture of the brush as if it were nonchalant. It has a vintage feel, yet it looks sensual, and sometimes it's even warm. There's a trick to feeling like an expert even if you draw the same animals and props!
✍🏼 Draw people easily
It's always too hard to draw people. Is it difficult to get started because it's hard to match proportions and posture, and there are so many things you need to know about what to do with your skin tone, hair, and features? I don't know much about complicated theories, but I think I drew a rough drawing, but let's try drawing characters in a cool and easy way!
✍🏼Enjoy gouache painting for a lifetime
Once you've learned hard, it's time to enjoy it. If you finish your own one-of-a-kind painting, make it a gift, and make it a gift, wouldn't you be very proud? I'll teach you everything from finishing Photoshop for product printing to how to make simple props.
Basic package
1. Josonya Acrylic Gouache 13 Color Set
It's a water-soluble acrylic gouache. Since you can mix paints to create a variety of colors, I'm going to use a basic set of 13 colors. Before it dries, it smears like watercolor paint, but after it dries, it hardens like acrylic paint, so you can keep the picture without getting on your hands.
2. Josonya acrylic gouache solid color (138 warmWhite)
Gouache is an opaque material, so when adjusting the brightness (brightness), I use a mixture of white paint instead of water. Therefore, it's a good idea to prepare a slightly larger amount of white, which you often use.
3. MISSION WHITE CLASS POSTER+WATERCOLOR COLORS (D754 SHELL PINK/ D704 DAVY'S GREY)
Shell Pink (musical yellow), which is often used to express a character's skin, and Davy's Grey (gray), which is used to adjust saturation, are not included in the basic 13-color set, so I prepared them separately.
4. Fabriano Academia Drawing Pad (A4 200g)
It is a color-only paper with a suitable thickness. When you touch it with your hands, it has a slight texture, so the brush touch leaves a nice touch. Since it's padded, it's easy to remove one by one, and it's A4 size, so it's convenient to store.
5. Acrylic brush & watercolor brush (Huahong oil painting, acrylic combination, No. 1, No. 10, No. 18/ Barbara Sepil 80R-S No. 0, No. 2)
I have prepared a brush suitable for using gouache. Brushes of various sizes are needed to use everything from fine details to backgrounds.
6. Malista paper pallet
Since gouache hardens as it dries, it is difficult to use a washed palette. Therefore, it is convenient to separate the paper pallets one by one.
7. 10 sheets of oil paper (tracing paper)
This is a tracing paper that can be used to simplify complex photos or to practice shapes on top of photos.
8. Tombow MONO J pencil 1 pack (B)
A pencil to use when sketching. If the sketch marks are too dark, I'll use a light B-pencil because the sketch will shine even if I paint bright paint on top of it.
9. 1 tombow eraser
An eraser to use when sketching.
10. Crampons Heart 1-prong pencil sharpener (random color)
This is the same pencil sharpener that Dancing Snails uses!
11. Fabercastel Click & Go Water Bottle (deep green color)
It's a must-have bottle of water when drawing gouache! It can also be folded into a small size, so it's easy.
The brush in the picture is not included.
12. Kraft paper frame A4 size 2p
We will also send you a 2p paper frame that is perfect for storing the finished picture and making it a great gift.
