Are you ready to be happy with me?
The most proud story I've heard while running a crochet class so far is that I can feel the “joy of immersion” and “sense of accomplishment” in the process of making dolls with crochet. And it came very loud to me saying that I felt happy in the midst of that.
I also think the feeling I feel while immersing myself in the nose-by-nose process and the sense of accomplishment I feel every time I complete the doll one by one is one of the reasons I make crochet dolls. Just as this whole process made me happy, I hope you all feel happy with me while crocheting dolls.
Class recommendation target
- Those who want to feel the joy of immersion and a sense of fulfillment
- Those who want to feel happy while making dolls with me
- Those who want to learn the basic skills of crochet dolls
- Those who wanted to attend an offline class but couldn't come for various reasons
- People who have been floating around with dolls but have had trouble making them pretty
- Those looking for a hobby to do with their own hands for Taigyo.
Estimated class time
There are 9 chapters in total, and they will create 6 works, including 2 macaroons, low cats, mint chocolate chips, cherry jubilee, and Ryan.
In actual offline classes, the curriculum takes an average of 2 months to 3 months or more depending on the individual's competency. In this online course, we offer a total of 5 months of generous course time so that students can create their own tempo according to their own time. (The time required may vary from person to person.)
What do you learn?
Learn the basics of making dolls
In addition to the basic knitting method, I will teach you everything that is difficult because it is your first time, from the part of sewing a thread on a needle to how to finish the thread, and how to sew a regular thread on a knitted fabric. Take lessons and build up your basic skills so that you can create on your own later.
Crochet Doll Making Techniques
Of course, knitting is also quite an important task, but the eight parts of a crochet doll are actually connected by sewing. In fact, in my offline classes, I teach you how to connect the head to the body, how to connect the arms, how to connect the legs, and how to make human hair in a variety of ways. In my first online class, I'll teach you how to connect a few of them. You'll learn how to connect two arms, and learn three ways to connect legs. I'll also show you how to connect the head and body without leaving stitching marks. In the process, you can also learn the know-how that I have been researching and thinking about.
Many ways to make a doll look pretty
When it comes to making dolls, one of the most important things is how to put cotton in. I'm going to show you how to get a beautiful shape while putting in cotton. More than just “put cotton here,” these parts include a detailed explanation of how to shape them and how to put them in, so it will be a satisfying online class even for those who haven't been able to attend my offline classes. In addition, we will also show you tips on how to embroider facial expressions that are important when making dolls, tips for making set dolls beautiful, and points to keep in mind when drawing dolls.
Class preview
These are the works I'll create in this class. “Mint Choco Chips” and “Cherry Jubilee” are sizes that fit in the palm of your hand, but “Low Cat” is about 13 cm with my tension, and “Ryan” is over 22 cm, so it's great to hold in your arms. I plan to lay the foundation by accurately grasping the structure of each doll and learning how to connect them accordingly. If you're a beginner, it's great for getting the basics right, and for those who can knit to a certain extent, it will be an opportunity for you to learn more systematically.

ALL IN ONE KIT
- 4.5 mm 100% wool yarn 13 types: All dolls other than “Ryan” use 100% wool. It's easier to knit than cotton yarn, so there's no difficulty in getting used to it for the first time. I included a ball of mustard colored thread as a service, so please use it for practice.
- 6 mm 100% cotton yarn 9 types: This is 100% combed cotton yarn as the thread needed to float “Ryan.” We offer 9 types of yarn for each color.
- 2 types of crochet needles: I have inserted crochet needles No. 5 and No. 6 for the simulation. The 4.5 mm wool yarn uses the No. 5 crochet, and the 6 mm cotton yarn uses the No. 6 needle.
- Class design: For each doll, Vibri provides a design that was thought out and created by itself. It features easier and more detailed explanations than other designs.
- 3 types of needles and common needles: Two types of needle needles that match the thickness of the thread, a needle with a long length required to connect both arms, and a regular needle are provided.
- Forceps, scissors: These scissors are easy to store because they have forceps used to push cotton in and a cap with a pointed tip.
- Bubble cotton: For beginners or those who haven't dealt with dolls a lot, a cotton cloth that is easy to shape is suitable. In class, I'll also tell you the difference between bubble cotton and cloud cotton.
- Other materials: Quilting thread, single indicator ring, hour pin, low cat nose button
