Unfortunately, in this class, we plan colorful illustrations and wonderful stories, post them to publishers, and aim for activities at home and abroad. This is not a class that teaches you how to become a full-time picture book writer.

So what can we learn in this class?

Before I introduce them, I'll share some real reviews from the students.

The picture book writing techniques taught in this course are not picture fairy tales that require a well-structured story and colorful pictures, but books with your own pictures and stories.

It's easy to start with oil pastels!

Edit Image Info

Let's start drawing simply and easily with oil pastels. With OmiArt, you can learn more about how to publish a book with the pictures you started with, and the entire process of planning and publishing.

ps. The kit consists of oil pastels. (This is because oil pastels are simple and easy to draw). However, you don't have to buy a kit.

If I like watercolor, I use watercolor painting, if I like digital painting, I use digital painting, if I like simple pen drawing, I use pen drawing All you need to do is draw an illustration. It doesn't necessarily have to be an oil pastel.

This is the artist Omi from the picture book.

I didn't know how to handle design tools at all, and I still struggle with writing.

The expression “dislike” would be more accurate.

However, I have a small hobby of drawing food pictures with oil pastels.

Edit Image Info

When I was an office worker, I felt anxious that I wouldn't be able to go to work after giving birth.

At that time, I vaguely vaguely made a commitment to make a small pocket money by selling paintings.

Since I'm a non-painting major, people around me responded that they were all worried.

After that, I started publishing for 0 won

I started an art-related single-person company and was able to operate it stably

Surrounding reactions have changed.

How can I be a non-major

Furthermore, is it possible for a mother of a baby who is short on time to do this kind of activity?

That's because picture books became my foundation.

Edit Image Info

More than when I just drew a picture

I started talking about publishing the picture as a book

Since then, as trust has been built, various opportunities have arisen.

Edit Image Info

Because picture books! Speaking of professional illustrators

This is because it is considered to be the domain of professional writers who have been writing for years.

In fact, anyone can easily create a picture book and publish it if they let go of their greed.

Nowadays, if anyone wants to do a private broadcast on YouTube, it's like doing a private broadcast.

But anyone can get started

You should be aware that no one can publish.

Because planning a picture book and even publishing it

It takes a lot of time to breathe, so I need to be patient!

Edit Image Info

There may be people who have the goal of becoming a famous writer at home and abroad through publishing.

More than that in this class If you only need an idea, we can help you create an endless number of drawing picture books even if you have an idea.

This class is for those who are not serious, and for non-majors like me.

That's why I want elementary school students to be able to follow along with this lesson

It was very easy to make.
