Classic beauty is timeless
Calligraphy has the Greek etymology of “to write beautifully.” I'm happy just looking at beautiful letters, but writing it myself would be even more satisfying. Especially in the digital age, the time given by analog sensibility will bring you joy of immersion and inner happiness.
Copperplate, commonly known as English handwriting, was most used between the 16th and 18th century and is the most beautiful and elegant typeface in English calligraphy. I'll help you write this beautiful typeface that takes my heart like holly.
Through this class, I'd like to introduce you to the classic beauty of copperplate typefaces and the appeal of writing with a pen tip. The typeface is written with a point pen tip, but if you wish, you can also take lessons with a fountain pen or brush pen.
I want to feel the happy thrill of freely skating on paper with the tip of a pen!
Need a fresh impetus or change?
It is said that our brain is most stimulated and we feel pleasure when we encounter something we have never done before. Copperplate will be a fun and fresh source of stimulation for you!
I recommend it to both those who want to incorporate beautiful handwriting into their business using pen tips and ink, and those looking for new changes as a new hobby. Now you can learn the handwriting you've been longing for so long in the comfort of your own home!
The nib of a pen is the key to entering a new world
Thankfully, many students who have already taken the course say that they feel like they have entered a new world, that they liked it a lot, and that they were good at listening. The mystical experience of time stopping and meeting myself brings the greatest healing and calming serenity.
There are absolutely no shortcuts in English calligraphy. I'd like to let you know in advance that the time you invest and the time you practice will produce the desired strokes and curves. The progress you see after a certain period of time will give you a tremendous sense of accomplishment.
Copperplate is a very advanced technique, so if you learn this typeface, modern English calligraphy and brush lettering will be completed by itself. Also, it can be incorporated into various businesses and used in various fields such as weddings, packaging, cards, flowers, leather, and logo creation. I feel the greatest reward and happiness when I learn about copperplate and see them use it in a variety of ways.
Know-how for easy access
I'll slowly explain in detail how to write lowercase and upperplate letters through basic planning exercises. After completing the alphabet, I'll also teach you how to connect lowercase letters and how to connect them to uppercase letters. Have you ever wondered how to write double letters and how numbers are written? If you take this class, you will naturally be able to use copperplate.
The beautiful copperplate typeface is written with point-nibs, and it takes time to get familiar with the nib. If you observe and practice the structure of the alphabet with me, you'll be able to access it more easily than you might think. I will generously share my own know-how so that you can approach and learn as simply as possible.
Since it is important for the typeface to be completed, the purpose of this class is to give priority to conveying the correct font form. For those who are worried about being able to master typefaces online, I would like to say that the video contains all the information from the course, and that online classes have the advantage of reducing travel time and costs without restrictions on time and place. In fact, my online classmates are getting the same results as my offline students. After learning how to write, I support you more than anyone else so that you can make it yours through steady practice.
ALL IN ONE PACKAGE
! It includes the most basic tools and alphabet textbooks, so I recommend that you buy my kit as a must in order to take lessons.
walnut ink
It's a powder made from the shell of a walnut and doesn't smudge, so it's great for practice. I'll start by showing you how to make walnut powder with ink.
Oblique pen holder
The copperplate typeface uses an oblique pen holder rather than a straight holder.
Zebra G nib
We'll prepare 3 nibs so you can change pen tips while learning the alphabet.
Milk photo paper
The paper does not smear with ink and is suitable for writing with a pen tip. Use a printer to print guidelines on milk photo paper before use. (To save you the trouble of drawing guidelines every time, I'll provide a guideline file that I created myself.)
Mermaid paper
I'll send them in batches in the colors I usually use, and I'll also send a small amount of laces so I can cut the paper to make a bookmark.
Class materials
We'll send you an alphabetical guide for lowercase and uppercase letters.
☝🏻 Since ink, nibs, and pen holders other than paper depend on a small amount of imports, what can be purchased from time to time is different. Therefore, if sold out, we would like to inform you in advance that other products may be shipped according to the price range, and thank you for your understanding.
🔻 The following additional products are not offered by me. Therefore, it is not a tested or recommended product for me, and I recommend that you practice with basic materials at first and buy various inks later.

Danbisweetrain
Hello! I'm Danbisweetrain, a calligrapher. My work name, Danbisweetrain, comes from my moto of refreshing monotonous everyday life with words and letters as if you'd welcome refreshing spring rain.
Since I was young, I liked to sympathize and write good words, and I majored in English literature and French literature. Also, I've always admired art. I came across English calligraphy at the center of all my interests, and refining my handwriting became a process of refining myself.
I create English invitations and place cards for VIP events for domestic and foreign companies, including luxury goods companies, create on-site calligraphy events, logos and slogans, and do special corporate lectures and private classes. While working as an exclusive calligrapher for various brands such as Tiffany, Valentino, and Gucci, she is doing a happy job promoting the beauty of English calligraphy and presenting emotion.
There are many traditional fonts in English calligraphy, and learning the first font is very difficult, but the second and third are much easier and more enjoyable, just like parenting. If you observe and express the alphabet with me, you'll feel a great sense of joy.
Let's have fun with pen nib together!!!
