What do you learn?

Weaving (weaving) refers to the work of weaving threads of various materials and colors, building patterns, and making your own fabric.

Inspired by a loom that weaves cloth by crossing vertical and horizontal threads Let's master weaving as a class with “Woven the Basic”, a weaving kit researched and developed by Irene Storage!

Let's learn how to use “Woven the Basic” first. Also, I'll do 4 exercises using “Woven the Basic” while adding thread colors and patterns. As you increase the difficulty level!

Estimated class time

The first 1-2 lessons to get to know Weaving are at the beginner level of Weaving, and each takes about 2 to 3 hours.

The 3rd to 4th lessons of weaving a slightly larger area and adding patterns will be held for about 6 to 7 hours with intermediate weaving difficulty.

The time required to complete the work may vary depending on individual competencies.

Key lessons learned in class

Weaving basics Let me first explain the general details of weaving! After understanding weaving, let's practice step by step.

Practice with Woven the Basic “Woven the Basic” developed by Irene Storage has 3 weaving frames. Let's go beyond the beginning of weaving to master using all of the rectangular frames, round frames, and string frames!

Creating a weaving pattern I'll create a variety of patterns by mixing threads of different thicknesses and colors. You'll feel the thrill of weaving!

Design applications I will also learn how to apply design so that the weaving system I make shines even more. I'll make a tessel and follow it on to the weaving system, and I'll also look at how to imitate the design I want and sublimate it into weaving.

Irene Storage is a brand that makes DIY (Do It Yourself) kits for everyone to create and enjoy in their daily lives, and the more they use them, the more enjoyable they are.

After majoring in textile design, I started a project to promote the various charms of textiles, and my first kit was a weaving kit that I designed myself by recreating the old weaving method of weaving cloth with a loom!

I'm communicating with consumers by running a workshop in Daegu! We are also carrying out various activities and collaborations with various brands online.

We will continue to look forward to welcoming you as a project that can continue to promote not only weaving but also textile crafts using various techniques, and we will be Irene Storage, which makes even better DIY KITS:)
