About the artist Jeon Ju-young

I majored in oriental painting because I liked the beauty of the margin in calculated moderation and the boldness of the food, and after graduating from university, I went to a picture book school to learn about illustration and picture books. I'm a third-year painter who strives to paint pictures that give empathy and warmth.

I have worked on the creative picture book <The Yellow Moon Will Rise >, Picture Book<My Sister Who Became a Star >, and the Picture Book <The Dream of a Yellow Ginkgo Leaf >, and I am also engaged in illustrations and personal work activities.

I like to carefully and carefully observe precious everyday scenes and draw on paper while reinterpreting them with my own stories and colors. I want to feel and empathize with the joy of being reinterpreted with my own hands and drawn with images that are different from photographs.
