It was the beginning of Minimaiden when I went on a trip to Hakodate in the Hokkaidō region over a decade ago, when I stumbled upon a miniature workshop and vaguely heard, “I want to live my whole life doing this kind of work.” Since then, Minimaiden, which started in 2015, has been hosting miniature DIY kits and one-day classes. When I was in class, there were many people who were interested in miniatures, but didn't know where or how to start. Start with me one by one about what materials you need, where to buy them, and how to make that little thing.
I like whole chicken that my dad often bought when I was a kid, my favorite soul food, chijimi that reminds me of when it rains... I also like a desk-stained desk or vintage accessories that I want to have but can't afford. I want to create and share such miniatures that tell stories and make me laugh naturally when I watch them.
When it comes to miniatures, first of all, the idea is that they are small models. Everyone is amazed when they see something made so realistic in a small size. At first, I was small, but I really wanted to make it like a real thing. However, after a year or two of learning and creating, my desire to work on things that we can empathize with, and that can tell each other's stories just by making or watching them, grew more and more. This is an introductory class where you can feel free to start and enjoy miniatures. It's great every time you take a short break, or spend half a day off focusing and immersing yourself in time. If you follow along slowly, you can complete it without difficulty. I want to approach miniatures that everyone, with or without dexterity, can enjoy making. I hope Minimaiden's miniatures can add a sense of joy to your life.

What do you learn?
1. Miniature Basic Course - Woodworking Edition It would be nice if there was a tray or table even if I made one meal. Woodworking is essential for miniature base work, but I'll tell you the basics you need to know before starting this woodworking job. I'll show you the details of the wood used, painting, cutting, and finishing. 2. Miniature Basics Class-Clay Edition In miniature work, clay is the main material for making food, but it is also used to make various props. There are many people who think it is difficult because they need techniques to mold by hand, but it's not difficult if you follow them slowly from the basics. I'll show you the basics of clay work one by one, such as clay coloring, storage methods, basic molding, etc. 3. From a kitchen just for you, 5 menus, and small item work I will make a kitchen just for you (woodworking class) and 5 kinds of menus (clay class) that will serve as a wonderful backdrop for the food you will make in this class. In the case of clay classes, due to the nature of the material, it is primary molding, and after receiving it, you will go through a process such as secondary molding or coloring to complete it. I will tell you everything about the primary molding process and the parts that were worked on. I'll also show you the process of working on small items such as bowls, so be sure to try them out.
