Let's start Hangul calligraphy with emotion with me.

Hello, I'm Kim Ai, a calligraphy artist. I'm on a photo with a story Imbuing my own sensibility with writing I like it.

This is because I can completely melt my heart into each letter and kanji. If you write it down carefully like this A work imbued with my own sensibilityThis is complete.

Even though the tools are different, the basics of “calligraphy” are the same.

I use an iPad, but it's not much different from calligraphy using a pen. What makes up the letters componentIf you understand it from, it will be a little easier to write one character by one.

If general calligraphy changes the feel of the writing depending on the “pen,” then digital calligraphy 'brush'The feel of the text changes depending on.

I used it in this class Procreate appscomes with a variety of built-in brushes! brush styleI'll show you how to express it softly and sharply according to.

The birth of various characters through transformation

After learning the components of letters, various How to transformI'm going to learn about. Using this method From words to short sentences I'm going to practice using it. I'll provide you with all the text and exercise notes image files you need for the exercises :-)

So that I can freely write beautiful letters...!

If you practice using various variations, you will be able to write freely without a typeface. Write as much as possible How to use twisting and transformingLet's practice.

Create your own signature font

I'm also planning to create my own signature font using variations. This is the final goal of this course. You don't have to be good at writing every letter. You just need to put your own sensibility into the work. In order to create a signature font, I'll also create a background with text in my own style.

Using sentence structure and margins

When writing a sentence, the most important thing is “composition.” I'm going to practice how to easily create a composition and how to use the space between letters. Even if you make good use of the margins, the completeness of the sentence will be greatly improved.

“Using variations” and “using margins” are of paramount importance in order to freely write the words you want. Let's focus on this part step by step with me.

Once learned, calligraphy can always be used

To be able to use the calligraphy you learned in one chapter right away 'photo'I'm going to try it on top. I think the most important thing is to learn how to actually use it.

Use the effects provided by ProCreate to write the text I wrote Match the composition and margins I'm going to practice putting it on a photo.

Create a brush to make your writing more special

At the end of the class make a simple brush, Transform an existing brushYou'll learn how to do it. and I made my own brushI'll also give you one as a gift!

Everyone has their own sensibility.

Let's complete the work by putting that sensibility into a font
