Draw my life!

My story recorded in writing and pictures

Hello, Everyday artist artyeActive as Choi YejiIt's.

I am an illustrator and artist who writes and paints about everyday life and travel, running a studio called <Everyday Artist's House> in Jeju. The sum of moments is lifeI like the sentence. In the hectic flow of everyday life Moments I want to keepI started drawing. A photograph records that moment, but what you draw with a picture Other happinessis. When I draw a picture, the feelings I received from that moment are completely melted in. As I began to record my daily life and travel in my own language and pictures, Life is richIt's starting to set.

The work becomes more brilliant when pictures, words, and sentences are combined. Through this class, I not only paint, but also my daily life and travel Specific languageI would like to share with all of you the thrill that spreads when expressed as.

I'll tell you my painting story.

These are the grandmothers I met in Barcelona. I was curious about the quality of life that grandmothers who came to travel with their friends dressed up nicely even at the gray-haired age had built up. How should I live so that I can leave at the age of gray hair? Being aware of one's own style. The courage to travel regardless of age. A beautiful smile on a face full of wrinkles. Draw a picture <The resolution of life>I left it in my room with the text written down. While making a commitment to “I will carefully build up my moments to create that kind of resolution in my life.”

When I start drawing a picture of the moment I'm facing, where my eyes are directed and what do I like Time to get to know yourselfIt becomes. It's not just about drawing pictures, but through the practice of drawing scenes you want to keep An opportunity to get to know me betterIt's going to be. my The diversification of everyday life and travelOf course.

Having my own picture is such a wonderful thing.

I think there's one more language I can express.

The goal of the class is <to find my own picture>

Giving them the courage to draw anytime, anywhere!

How to find my paintings

First, time to get to know me through paper

First of all, why do you draw, why do you want to draw, what you want to draw, what do you like, etc., through paper I made myself Time to get to know meIt has. This paper is looking for my own picture The most important roleI will do it. What I've come to the conclusion I've learned from the offline classes I've conducted over the past 5 years is “The more specific words and sentences you have about yourself, the easier it is to draw a picture.” It was. It's hard to paint every day. We have to work, meet friends, and exercise. How can I continue to draw Knowing about me and respecting myselfIt's. I think the process of getting to know me must be accompanied. Let's write a paper together and go in search of my picture. I'll let you know step by step.

Second, draw a picture based on a photo I took

The moment I want to draw storytellingBy doing so, I practice drawing pictures of my daily life. Instead of taking a picture, you want to capture that moment as a steamy picture, but aren't you sure where to start drawing? When we look at a picture and draw a picture, we have an obsession to draw the same thing all year round. How can I put down that obsession, Is it possible to draw only what I want to draw I'll let you know.

Third, I'll sketch small things step by step.

You've picked up a pencil for the first time since you were a student? It's fine. I've never learned art either. I was an ordinary job-ready student who graduated from the Department of Business Administration. without looking at the whole thing, Split and sketchI'll show you my own sketch method for drawing. Words that cannot be missed, especially in everyday life “Me, my family, my partner, my pet” This is it.

You can draw anything by sketching as if you were filling in small parts step by step. Divided into people and animals/ flowers and accessories/ buildings and backgrounds Practice sketching togetherLet's try it.

Fourth, quick and easy watercolor tips

Are you afraid because you haven't picked up pallets and brushes since elementary school? Watercolor is Concentration of paint and waterIt must be correct to express it well, but I feel that this part is very difficult. Basically with paint How to create beautiful colors, on paper Tips for beautiful painting, even if you don't add a separate contrast or gradation Tips for filling in color naturallyI'll let you know. You can get the impression of a background without filling it all up!

Fifth, a way to make the picture warmer.

Putting colored pencils on watercolors

After coloring based on watercolor paint, How to add color pencils to enrich a pictureI'll let you know. Colored pencils make the picture more clear by filling in parts that are difficult to draw with paint. The check pattern on the shirt, the fur weave on the sweater, the pattern of the petals, the texture of the seashell, the stripes on the swimsuit, the eyes, nose, mouth, etc. - Tips for expressing things that are difficult to draw with a brush with colored pencilsI'll let you know. Watercolors and colored pencils go well together, so draw a little more warms I'll make it for you.

One last thing!

A sentence also becomes a picture.

I record my writing and pictures together through picture essays <surprisingly simple>, <drawing jeju>, and <drawing a travel>. If you write down your own text on the picture, it looks like the cover of a book Theme and powerI'm going to have it. After drawing a picture, Tips for adding sentences to make pictures more specialI'll let you know.

It's a class where you learn how to draw, How to writeI also talk about. I will write about “the moment I want to draw” under the theme of “My Daily Life, My Journey,” and add a sentence to the picture based on the content I wrote to help make it a more special picture story.

Draw a picture of the moment you want to capture. It feels like a moment becomes eternal. <Slur> The paint seeps into the paper, and the <square> colored pencils bring the picture to life. The goal of this class is to give you the courage to draw any scene you want to leave as a picture.

The comfort I received while painting, the power to nurture and hug me.

A picture for me eventually becomes a picture for us-

I want to share that valuable experience with you.

Then I look forward to meeting you in class and sharing stories and pictures with each other.
