Hello, this is Mango Taco:) When I first started working on thread bracelets, thread bracelet making was popular all over the country in the US. But not yet It's a pity that I can't find a lot of information on how to make a bracelet in Korea.

Through making a thread bracelet, which is a large part of my happy childhood memories, all of you I want you to meet a pleasant hobbyI have prepared for this class.

Watch and watch, and learn online.

The thread bracelet craft, which seems simple at first glance, is actually difficult to learn in one-day classes alone. This is because in the beginning, it takes quite a long time to learn the design and learn the technique to complete a bracelet.

Online classes Each person can get used to difficult parts by going back and forthIn that regard, Overcoming time and space constraintsI thought it was a great opportunity to be able to do it. If you listen to the class and follow along slowly, The point where the process of making a bracelet is “visible”This will definitely come. I hope that thread bracelet making, which is still considered only a hobby, can become a “craft” genre starting from this class.

Let's start with the design?

When I first try to start a bracelet, I often find it difficult because of the variety of designs. I chose it because it looked fine, but there are some cases where it's too difficult. A thin bracelet isn't always easy, and a thick bracelet isn't difficult.

From a huge number of thread bracelet designs, I have selected attractive designs that will help you improve your skills, so please trust me and follow along:) So that you can choose your own design and complete it with the color and arrangement you want I'll let you know in detail.

Start off right and apply freely.

In addition to the 4 knotting methods for making a basic pattern thread bracelet, Mango Taco's thread bracelet class is designed so that you can also learn applied techniques such as flat knots and flat knots.

There are a total of 11 works to create together, from thin bracelets for building a foundation to thick 8-string bracelets Works of various difficulty levelsI prepared it with. Along with the increasingly difficult curriculum, you will also learn skills to adjust your strength, and you will gradually be able to finish the beginning and end smoothly.

Let's start learning the basics of knots by making a triangle bracelet, which is the first thing we'll make. There are 4 types of knots that are the basis of thread bracelets, as shown below.

  • Forward knot (front knot)
  • Sewing knot (back knot)
  • Forward-backward knot (front-to-back knot)
  • Backward-forward knot (back-to-front knot)

Don't forget the loop (starting loop) and tail finish that you'll learn along with these 4 ways to tie knots Files drawn by Mango TacoI'll attach it to you!

As you diligently follow my classes, you will gradually gain a sense of the production process to the point where you can imagine the production process yourself. After making all the layered bracelets for the last time You'll learn everything from the basics to in-depth details of knot bracelets.

Eat as much as you want! Let's make it.

In addition to everything I explained earlier, from how to make a bracelet with an adjustable length to how to finish it neatly in a V shape I tried to include as many tips as possible:) At the end of the class, all you have to do is search for a pattern and make a bracelet of your choice. A bracelet with a sensibility that cannot be found anywhere else in the world, It would be nice to make it pretty and give it as a gift, right?

Lightly anytime, anywhere,

It's even more fun with the clipboard!

Actually, a clipboard isn't necessary to make a thread bracelet. As long as you can fix the thread, you're free to start anywhere!

However, the clipboard allows you to work smoothly It acts as the most stable anchoringI'll do it. The clipboard included in this kit is different from other clipboards where the thread slides out due to poor fixation, so I'll send it to you the one I always use:)

A thread bracelet woven with wishes, and I do it together every day.

There is a story that if you wear a thread bracelet and break it off, your wish will come true. It seems like it will break quickly because it is made of thread, but since it is intricately woven with multiple strings, it rarely breaks. I think the story of wishes coming true came up because it's so hard to break up.

Before making a bracelet, think about what wishes you would like to put on this bracelet and start making it. If you recall your wish the moment you make a bracelet, your wish will come true even if the bracelet doesn't break ✨

Mango Taco

🥭 Hello, this is Mango Taco 🌮

For me who loved everything I made by hand, making thread bracelets was one of my hardest hobbies. I started making bracelets when I was in elementary school, and since there was almost no relevant information in Japan, I remember studying English hard to find overseas sites and videos 🙂

It's a very fascinating hobby that comes to mind even after forgetting about making thread bracelets. Once you learn how to read a design, you can feel that your skills are improving step by step, and the sense of accomplishment is also quite impressive! It doesn't cost a lot of materials, so I think it would be a good place for students to get started. The finished bracelet is perfect as a gift for a loved one or friend. Once you make a bracelet, you can wear it for years, and it will give your partner a precious piece of memory.
