Weaving works that blend into life,

It's easy to make with a single template.

Hello, I'm the artist Kim Ye-sul, who runs Despacio Studio. They say I like comfortable work. This is because I feel that the more works blend naturally into everyday life, the longer they can stay together for a long time.

With this in mind, I am working on weaving that delicately deals with inspiration from nature and small parts felt in ordinary everyday life. I hope you will fill your normal everyday life with a little more 'artistic' through this class.

Wouldn't it be a more enjoyable day if we could decorate even the smallest details with weaving works filled with our thoughts and experiences? Why don't you start warm weaving with me easily?

As a weaving frame that can be used in a variety of ways

It's easy to get started and apply.

Here is a weaving template specially created by Despacio Studio for this class. It is possible to work from a small size to about 40 cm in one frame, and the more sturdy material makes it ideal for long-term use.

As a first step, I'll take a light step on the tea coaster. In the process of learning the 5 basic techniques of weaving, 5 types of tea coasters are created.

Lay a solid foundation for weaving with a tea coaster that is easy to make and can be used as an everyday accessory.

As you learn more techniques

Props closely related to daily life are created.

As you go through the classes, the techniques you will learn will gradually develop. Let's meet the various works that will be completed accordingly. Once you learn the know-how, you can easily apply it elsewhere.

I'm already looking forward to seeing how various weaving tasks, such as table mats, cushions, and bags, will bring to your life.

It doesn't stop at making things along.

Make your own thread and try weaving it yourself.

At the end of the class, I will give you a number of tips so that all of you who have become familiar with weaving work can continue to enjoy the work. We will help you figure out which material of thread is suitable for which props and plan the desired work.

I will also introduce how to join them directly to create a thread with just the color you need. Continue to imagine continuing your weaving work by making your own thread that you can't find anywhere else.

Class Kit · Coaching Session

🧶 Meet the kit composition prepared by Despacio Studio.

1) Basic kit is the default choice.

  • BASIC KIT : This configuration includes all materials and auxiliary materials required to take classes according to the curriculum.

2) Purchase additional weaving frames according to the situation.

❗️ The weaving frame is an essential tool for attending classes. If you don't already have one, be sure to buy one. You can also take the course using your existing framework, but you must check the details specified below for the exact conditions for a smooth course.

  • Weaving frame: despacio loom

3) Choose additional components for a more rich course.

  • 8 Special Agent Mini Skeins
  • Ulsa: Choose 1 out of 2 types

BASIC KIT

: Frame, thread, other auxiliary materials

It is an essential thread and auxiliary material for making objects (props) along the class. I wanted to tell you about threads made of various materials and special yarn, so I tried to make the threads a little more diverse, except for basic scissors and tape measure.

📍 All actual colors will be sent randomly

  • 8 mini skein special agents 3 g (±2 g) or 18 m (±2 m) long
  • Lambswool 5 balls 50g (±5)
  • Cotton yarn 2 balls 50g (±5)
  • Ulsa 30g 2Ball, 60 g (±5) 3 balls, 30 g (±10) 3 balls
  • 12 pack cotton yarn 1 ball
  • 1 iron needle
  • 1 glass landscape
  • 4 wooden beads (one big one, three small ones)
  • 2 buttons (wood buttons)
  • 1 x 25x40 cushion cotton
  • 1 magnetic button
  • Bag strap 1m (±10) 1 string
  • Wood rod 22cm (±5) 1
  • Key ring (1 mini o-ring, 1 ring, 1 large o-ring)
  • nylon string
  • Despacio cloth bag (for those who purchased a weaving room)

Weaving frame • despacio Loom •

  • 1 wood comb (bamboo)
  • Wood weaving frame 30cm x 50cm, slope spacing 0.3cm/ 0.5cm (rubber wood) _ changed to nails
  • Despacio cloth bag

  • I created a frame that is easy to use and can be used for a long time by incorporating parts that were disappointing during my personal work. Made of hardwood (rubber wood), it is sturdy and contains little residue. Despacio's unique frame is made of durable wood.
  • The weaving frame has a groove so you can adjust the height. From a small tea mat, 40 cm (±5) work is possible. You can adjust the slope length by adjusting the frame height, and you can also clean up a little more comfortably at the finishing stage after the weaving process.
  • If you have a frame, you don't need to buy it separately, but classes are difficult for those with a width of 30xcmx50cm and a slope spacing of 0.3 cm/ 0.5 cm or less. Please check the size before proceeding!

Additional selectable components
