I loved looking into botanical encyclopedias and studying about flowers and trees. One day, my eyes flashed when I saw a work embroidered with flowers. I started embroidering flowers because I was drawn to the fact that I could embroider my favorite flowers and that I could put them by my side without breaking them.

Maybe it's human instinct to look into flowers, smell incense, and fall in love with them. A flower that calms the mind and brings happiness just by looking at it. In the meantime, I will gather and introduce the various flower embroidery know-how we have accumulated while embroidering flowers with a love for flowers and how to use them as accessories.

The encounter between our embroidery and Western embroidery,

I took only the good points.

Western embroidery has many three-dimensional techniques and is dynamic. On the other hand, our embroidery has many flat techniques for filling fine noodles, and it's static.

There is also a big difference in embroidery materials, but our traditional embroidery uses silk threads for silk fabrics, while Western embroidery can be used as everyday accessories using cotton yarn or wool yarn, so its practicality is outstanding.

It's nice to think that our flower embroidery, which you'll learn in this class, combines our embroidery with Western embroidery. I brought in traditional embroidery techniques to make the most of its style and appeal, and made use of cotton yarn and cotton/linen fabric so that it can be finished as a practical accessory.
