Wooden chopstick calligraphy that captures the sensibility of everyday life
Hello, this is Kanseong Rabbit Calligraphy. After working as a designer for a long time, I fell deeply in love with calligraphy, which I stumbled upon when I felt like I wanted to find something unique to me. Calligraphy, which allows for free expression, resonates greatly with my heart because I can express my feelings honestly without being bothered by anyone.
I usually do brush calligraphy work, but when I'm tired of brush calligraphy work and need a break, I often take a break from brush calligraphy work, write words that comfort me by dipping ink on wooden chopsticks, and even if I can't draw well, add my own pictures that are filled with emotion, and put them in places I often see for self-comfort.
The students in the studio also enjoy the emotional writing of wooden chopstick calligraphy without any special skills, and they love my clunky yet childlike paintings, and they really want to learn it. For many people who are new to calligraphy, I'll let you know that even if you don't have special brush skills, you can make calligraphy worthwhile if you include sensibility.
Wooden chopsticks, the magic of becoming your own special pen
It doesn't necessarily have to be a professional brush pen. Make your own one-of-a-kind pen by cutting wooden chopsticks, which are common tools that anyone can easily obtain, pour ink on a plate, and dip the wooden chopsticks into a square on paper! Let's start calligraphy with lots of analog sensibility!
Calligraphy with a sense of chance
We will practice various lines, write a variety of words from words to sentences, and experience calligraphy with a sense of naturalness instead of mechanical expression in calligraphy where chance is emphasized!
Let's change the font I usually use.
Do you know that calligraphy is a type of writing that can be expressed in a variety of ways? Learn how to change from one font to a font with a variety of styles instead of a class that follows the same font. Here are some useful tips that you can fully apply to your usual fonts.
What if I'm not good at drawing?
Pictures that are a bit clunky and clumsy are better suited for writing.
It doesn't have to be a nice, colorful picture. Even if it sticks out a little and isn't enough, it can be a picture that goes well with the text. I'll show you how to draw small pictures that look like ink illustrations using the smudges of a ballpoint pen, and draw simple flowers and leaves that don't have names.
As the tools change, the same font looks different.
Sharp and ballpoint pens, which are easy to access, are one of the tools that go well with chopsticks. I'll try using a brush pen for beginners that are easy to adjust strength and strength, and a flat pen for chopsticks in a different way.
I enjoy the analog sensibility class while smelling the aroma of coffee.
Did you know that coffee is a very useful ingredient in calligraphy? It is also used as a material for dyeing paper when doing works, and coffee writing is one of the most popular classes among students even in actual workshop classes. As soon as you start writing dark brown letters while feeling the aroma of coffee, you will feel the analog sensibility and have a time of proper healing!
Let's make works of Yongyong and learn about other fonts of emotional rabbit.
As you create your own work on postcards, paper cups, and label paper and experience various compositions, you will feel more and more confident that you can apply your own writing to other small items. I hope you can experience a more special, easy and enjoyable calligraphy experience through the Senseong Rabbit Wooden Chopsticks Class.
The beginning of authentic calligraphy! Let's do it with Gamseong Bunny.

Hello! It is an emotional rabbit calligraphy that writes the sensibility of everyday life in writing. I run a private workshop in Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi-do, where I train professional calligraphers, and I meet many people in various places such as public companies and large companies, and communicate with them through calligraphy. In addition to teaching, he is a calligraphy artist who works as a calligraphy jury member and is active in national, internal and international exhibitions, and works on various tasks.
Calligraphy was such a wonderful new world where I could freely express my feelings. Of course, I didn't write it well at the beginning, but it was really nice that I was focused and engaged in writing something. I thought I could communicate with writing, so I took the courage to start teaching!
As I taught them how to write, I learned a lot of things from the students, and I think I grew even more. As I wrote and communicated, I gradually became an extroverted person!
Calligraphy has many difficult fonts that require difficult skills, and there are many brush pens that are difficult to handle, but for first-time beginners, it is necessary to approach them with sensibility rather than technology, so they can enjoy calligraphy more easily, and they can capture their sensibility even when they are good at writing. I wanted to share the calligraphy of wooden chopsticks, which I like and which is popular among students, with more people, so I gathered all the know-how I had accumulated over many years and worked hard to prepare.
If you write down words that comfort you, put them on your desk, and look at them often, it's a little comforting. I hope that it will be a time for those who take this class to fill their hearts with warmth and sensibility by finding words they usually like and writing them themselves. Let's start a wooden chopstick calligraphy class with lots of analog sensibility with me.
