Beginners are fine too!

Once you know the goodness and fun of watercolor, you will be able to draw more attractive illustrations.

Watercolor Basics 1

I will learn the basics of watercolor using my selection of transparent watercolors.

Watercolor Basics 2

You will learn shortcuts and ways to come up with ideas to improve the degree of perfection.

Use clear watercolors to draw charming characters!

You will enjoy learning the process of creating original characters using various motifs while making the most of the unique flavor of watercolor.

I draw illustrations using transparent watercolors as a hobby. I like the style of painting, which is often called “manga style” overseas, and I value the quality and chance of color that can only be produced in analog.

In this class, the goal is to create characters while taking hints from familiar objects such as flowers, miscellaneous goods, furniture, etc., and complete them as a single piece of work.

Class101 is planning a character illustration course for drawing with watercolors!

In this course, I will explain with videos how to come up with ideas for drawing pictures, deformation, composition, coloring from line drawings, etc., and the purpose is to draw attractive character illustrations together.

You can take the course anytime, any number of times during the course period, at your own pace.

Necessary items such as paints, brushes, and paper are also included in the plan, so you can start right away from the day they are delivered.

Creator Interviews

Q. What kind of illustrations do you usually draw? Also, where do you get your inspiration for your illustrations?

A. I usually draw mostly illustrations of girls. There are various atmospheres, such as modern style and fantasy, but I always use transparent watercolors to color.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?

A. I want people to like transparent watercolors even more! There are people who say that it's difficult and they don't understand it well, but I hope you can enjoy getting used to how to handle it in this class where you can learn from beginning to completion of drawing together.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

A. Aim for a highly complete watercolor illustration and have fun drawing with me!
