Q. Please tell me what led you to start making candles!
A. When I went on a trip to Korea, I first encountered Korean candles at a local general store. Until then, I thought candles were just for lighting a fire, but I was shocked when I saw a candle with a cute Korean design.
Then I couldn't forget the shock, and as soon as I returned to Japan, I wanted to make such a cute candle myself, so I started making candles.
Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?
A. I think there are many people who want to take a step forward and learn about making soy candles, but I think that is difficult due to various circumstances. Among them, I think it would be nice if everyone could use this class, which can be learned online, as an opportunity to make soy candles.
I would be happy if I could make my own candle, present it to a loved one, or light it during my time as a small piece of happiness
