I'm an illustrator focusing on the genre of digital portraits drawing a variety of people.

While I was in college, at that time, I was lost in why I wanted to become an artist.

Also at that time, I visited the senior center for volunteering and drew portraits for two grannies. That night, their family sent me a thank you message and that was a meaningful moment and also became my turning point. It was a heartwarming moment that even a small piece of artwork I drew can give great joy to someone.

I've been drawing portraits ever since.

I've been drawing for 10 years and have used many art materials such as oil paintings, watercolors, colored pencils, pencils, acrylic, etc. However, after using an iPad, I have been only using this tool ever since then. The fact that it is possible to draw anywhere with a single iPad without multiple tools is just amazing! It's also easy to make adjustments! That's why the iPad is an easy and fun material for drawing,

As you can notice by the class name, this is my second class in CLASS101. I've got lots of questions through DM.

If my first iPad class in CLASS101 was a class for making the illustration process smooth and easier for beginners, this class is specially made to teach you all more detailed information such as brushes & color selections, and realistic hair with better quality.

While I am illustrating, I prefer not to draw exactly the same as the reference. I would rather try to make the skin shinier, the eyes and nose more noticeable, the hair more glowy, or adjust the character's appearance to fit my taste.

I'll show you those creative processes so that you can express freely and apply them to your illustration when drawing on an iPad!

I'll give you all my Procreate tips from understanding the concept of layers, the advantages of each brush, and how to apply them to the illustration to improve your work efficiency.

I'll easily explain to you about sketching which both beginners and intermediate students find difficult.

Sketching is actually not that difficult if you know those pro tips.

The size of the pupil and the proportion of the black and the white of an eye vary a lot depending on the angle and proportion of the face.

Throughout this class, I will tell you how to develop facial structure ratios depending on the angles you are sketching.

The reason "why" you should color this way

My coloring methods are different in every single stage of coloring a portrait. It is because my illustration is made by piling up the layers. You'll see how great the outcome looks when you put all the layers together. After taking my class, you'll be able to do the same for your art too.

Step by step, you would be able to figure out how to stack the color on one's hair, eyes, to make it seem more realistic, and how to draw the eyelashes and even what kind of brush you'd need for each step!

You'll understand why you need to use these different steps, and you'll be able to apply them to your illustrations :)

If you know the color theory, you'd be able to draw more diverse characters

Along with color theory, I'd like to show you what colors should be used for blushers, lips, and eyes, which are the most important factors in drawing portraiture, and also the part I enjoy the most.

Let's study color, saturation, and brightness and think deeply about these points and try understanding coloring more theoretically! Once you understand the theory, it will be easier to use colors.

During the upgraded coloring exercises, I will introduce you to various tips to make your drawing look fancier. By learning these chapters, you'd learn what to consider when sketching, how to choose base colors, how to make the skin glowy, and how to edit the colors and line work.

I'm currently a creator and instructor. However, I had a lot of struggles drawing my illustrations too. At that time I couldn't figure out my future since I worried a lot about my progress.
