Hello! I'm Hisamayako, the instructor of “Making a Palm-Sized Mascot Packed with Cute Things.”
The fluffy wool used to make the mascot is pierced using a needle (a needle dedicated to wool felting).
It takes a lot of time for it to take shape,You will be healed by the crisp and pleasant sound and you will be carried away.
We will start with a flat motif
First, I want you to get used to handling needles, so I'll start with wool embroidery.
I draw a line with a pattern on the felt sheet and add color. The needle breaks very easily, so insert and unplug it straight.
Basic felt ball making
Felt balls wrapped in wool and pierced in a circle are basic.
It's a detailed process, but I'll take the time to finish it carefully. I prepared plenty of wool so that I could make a lot of them.
I'll also tell you some tips for not getting your fingers pierced.
I'm going to use base wool to make mascots
Measure the amount of wool with a kitchen scale that can be measured from 0.1 g before making it.
Once you have a solid base, you can freely shape it into whatever shape you like.
Once the shape is decided, not only wool, but also yarn is used to make a mascot.
