Skills You’ll Learn
Hello!
I'm Lily Attic, an oil pastel artist.
When I first saw works of oil pastel artists from overseas, I felt the warmth and simplicity of oil pastel and started working with it by myself.
Since I worked at an art museum, I have always loved looking at art. Still, even though I have never learned art, I started drawing in earnest because of oil pastels.
I immediately fell in love with oil pastel, for it makes such beautiful colors and easily creates the texture of oil paintings.
Even though I have never been close to art, it is my profession now. So I'm sure that even those who aren't familiar with drawing can also enjoy the joy of oil pastels.
This class will help you enjoy oil pastel easily.
This class is designed for people who are interested in oil pastels but having difficulties keeping up, and for those who want to experience oil pastels more easily.
Come and have fun with oil pastels!
When I started drawing, moments of my day I used to pass by casually began to feel very special and different.
Knowing how to draw is obviously important. Not only that, if you are on this journey with me, you'll also have the chance to search what you love!
Enjoy the smooth colors and beautiful colors of oil pastel art!
You can easily bring out captivating colors and texture using oil pastels, even without water or a brush.
It has a smooth texture and lovely colors, much like lipstick. Oil pastels are often used as chalk art in Japan. However overseas they are slowly becoming popular among people who want to enjoy art casually as part of their lifestyle.
In this class, I will first introduce you basic techniques and teach how to draw landscapes so that those who are new to oil pastels and those who are not good at drawing can both enjoy.
People who are new to oil pastels will enjoy sketching, composing, and coloring with texture.
Now, time to have fun with oil pastel art:)

I like using various motifs such as plants, flowers, landscapes, food, animals, people, etc. But I draw nature the most. I think I often draw based on things I see in my day-to-day lives, things that move my heart, and things I like.

Both can be enjoyed by beginners, but the "ABCs of Oil Pastel with Lily Attic" class is suitable for those who are entirely new to oil pastels.
