He presides over Cross Effects, which produces one-stop shooting editing in a wide range of fields such as corporate VPs and MVs. After graduating from university, she worked as a dancer in Toronto, Canada, and performed in MVs and events. After returning to Japan, I was in charge of overseas business and food/beverage and amusement sales promotions at a certain advertising agency. After his hometown was hit by the Great East Japan Earthquake, he became independent as a videographer. Since I have experienced the three aspects of the performer, the requesting side, and the production side, I am active as a videographer who specializes in one-stop production. It has a wide range of customers, from large companies to small and medium-sized enterprises, and individuals, and will produce 140 videos a year in 2017.

Q. What kind of activities does the teacher do? Please tell us a little bit about your teacher!

I have the title of videographer, and I undertake a one-stop service from shooting to editing various video contents such as corporate commercials, documentaries, and branding content. They are not only active creators, but they are also engaged in education-related matters, and they are certified trainers for software called DaVinci Resolve, video trainers at Digital Hollywood Studio, and a book called Adobe Premiere Pro Commentary (Introduction to Adobe Premiere Pro Greed).

Q. How did your teacher start making videos?

A. I was dancing in Toronto, Canada about 15 years ago, and appearing in an MV by a singer there was my first opportunity to get involved with video. From there, a video was set as an expression of dance, and familiar things stopped. Also, at the same time, the culture of SNS gradually spread, and I was moved by the fact that I could easily watch my dance videos on YouTube. After returning to Japan, I worked for an advertising agency, but as I was involved in various projects, I gradually began to feel that it would be more fun if I could create my own, so I went to school while working and acquired editing skills.

Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?

The reason I offered online classes at CLASS101 was that I felt that there were people in a different class from the genres I had been involved in so far. Using video is now a matter of course. Therefore, I felt that in order to convey the splendor of video editing to a wide range of people, we should work on various platforms.

Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?

I did thorough research on what beginners wanted to learn, etc., and set up the necessary curriculum based on the feelings of the learners. I would like people who have never touched video editing or used video content at all to take it.

Q. What kind of experiences do you want the students to have through this class?

Let's create a video and have various people listen to it using SNS etc. I'm very happy that the first impression I get there is. That's the first step. I'm sure everyone will be addicted to the moment they get the audience's response and think about what to make next.

Q. Please give a message to the students!

It's just now, but the use of video has already become a commonplace stage. This is not the production side, and even the general public who listens probably feels that way. However, there are still many people and companies that still can't make videos or use them. This may be because of the hurdle at first sight, which seems difficult or difficult. But once you learn this skill, it lasts a lifetime. You can promote and brand yourself, and you can also sell products. I think it's a skill you can really learn and not hurt, so let's take the first step together first!
