There's always a hat that looks great on every person. A hat that looks good will make you look prettier and more comfortable every day.
It is a magical item that instantly brings out your 'beauty', making even simple clothes look great just by putting on a hat.
This class was planned with that in mind. I'll tell you how to measure your head size, how to adjust the pattern to get the perfect fit, and how to wear a hat that looks much prettier than usual just by wearing it. I've made this class content so that people who want to wear hats until now but don't like things that look good on them can fall in love with hats.

In this class, we will deliver hat making so that sewing beginners and hat beginners can enjoy making hats that look good on them.
At the beginning, I create a hat that is the easiest of hats, starting with a beret, a simple hat with a brim, a stylish hat with a design, and finally, a hat that will allow you to make a variety of hats once this is done, while stepping up one by one. From the basics of hat making, how to cut and curve, to the finishing method unique to Simplin, which even beginners can finish beautifully, you can get a beautiful finish on a full-scale hat from a sewing beginner.

If you think you don't like hats, your head hurts if you wear them all the time. I'm so upset that I can't calm down. Isn't there a lot of people like that? That's because they don't have the right size. If it's the perfect size, you can wear it comfortably all day long.
I'll tell you how to measure your head size and how to arrange the pattern to make a hat that's the perfect size for yourself.
From simple shapes to hats with stylish designs, of course, you can make the three typical shapes of hats: berets, caskets, and crochet, and I will also tell you how to wear hats that look beautiful, colors, and fabric choices.
I want to wear a hat, but I don't really know how to wear it. Are there any fabrics that look fashionable and beautiful? What kind of dough is easy to make?

- In 1999, I met a book by hat designer Akio Hirata, and I was fascinated by the teacher's hat and entered the hat class in 1999.
- Consignment sales began in 2001.
- I started a hat class in 2008.
- The hat appeared in the 2010 “Cotton Friend” summer issue.
- “Adult Hat+Kid's Hat” (Nippon Vogue) was published in 2011/7
Since then, designs have been published in more than 15 books and magazines, including “Nicely Handmade.”
Instructed over 1000 people, from elementary school lower grades to men in their 60s, from handmade beginners to professionals such as bag designers and dressmaking teachers.
Currently, it's based on the concept of “freely arrange the basics”, and once you make it, it's definitely fun! I can do it too! Activities centered on hat classes that fit into hat making.

Q. How did your teacher start making hats?
I heard one book that caught my eye at a bookstore.
“Hats” by world-renowned hat designer Akio Hirata
I was fascinated by the beauty and fashion of the hat in that book, and I would like to try making a hat like this too! Even though I didn't have a sewing machine, I applied for Dr. Akio Hirata's hat class with a lot of momentum.
If I think about it now, it's a reckless thing... but the sense of accomplishment when the hat is completed for the first time and the people around me can make hats! I still clearly remember how happy I was when I was surprised.
Joy from that time is leading me to the present.
Q. Why did you offer online classes with CLASS101?
Simplin's hat class also offers online courses, but I wanted more people to enjoy the fun of making hats, so I decided to start a class at CLASS101.
Q. What points did you put the most effort into when planning the class? Who would you recommend this class to?
We have devised a curriculum that takes care of being able to make authentic hats while having fun without difficulty, even if it is your first time making hats. We've also created a new hat design for this lesson so that you can step up smoothly. Also, the content makes it fun not only to make hats, but also to tell you how to wear them, etc., and the fashion of hats. I have a big image that hats seem difficult, so I think people around me will be surprised and praised if I can make them. There are few people who make hats, and even though there aren't many images that can be made, it's actually not that difficult. I would like people who like sewing, as well as those who want to start making something new, feel free to try it out.
Q. What kind of experience do you want the students to have through this class?
Be confident and smile by making hats! There is an image that hat making seems difficult, but I found tips on how to make it easily and cleanly, and like I did at first, “I made a hat too!” I want you to experience that sense of accomplishment first. And from there she became Hatabibijin. Just putting on a hat is a magical item that instantly brings out that person's' beauty '.
