Popular English teacher Isaac shares “The secret to having fun studying English”

Isaac is an English teacher who is active in various fields such as broadcasting, radio, the Internet, and publishing with an easy and fun approach that breaks away from the hard atmosphere. He is also well known as a unique lecturer at EBS-TV's 'English Cafe', and is one of the lecturers most wanted to be invited by popular English instructors in Korea, such as Lee Bo-young, Lee Geun-chul, and Moon Dan-yeol.

While watching Korean people who “speak English a lot,” he thought it would be nice to have a “fun and neatly packaged English course” rather than an infused one, and incorporated his humorous meal into the lecture. It showcased “edutainment,” which combines elements of so-called education and entertainment. However, he said that his exaggerated gestures and expressions were not designed to teach English.

“Since I was a kid, I've been throwing my body (?) It was style. (Laughter) I had so many cousins and siblings, so I used to play and take care of the kids a lot, and from then on I did a lot of funny things with my body. When I was a student, my friends called me Jim Carrey.”

Isaac said he wanted to bring happiness to many people. I feel happy just by seeing the other person smile because of myself. He also says he wants to be happy. His principle is not to do anything big or good unless you are happy. Because of this, he earned the nickname “Happy Isaac.”
