Hello, I'm Bernano, a webtoon writer and creator of knitting webtoons. It was knitting and crocheting that gave me dreams and strength when I felt like I couldn't do anything while undergoing thyroid cancer surgery and chemotherapy, which suddenly came up during the webtoon series. Hello :-) I'm Bernano, creator and webtoon writer.
After I graduated from the design department, I went to a web design company, and I wanted to draw and write my own story, so I made my debut as a webtoon artist after leaving the company. That's how I became a webtoon writer... As a result of changing me all week without any tips, I got thyroid cancer and underwent total resection surgery. Thyroid cancer, which was an easy cancer for others, was a very difficult and difficult ordeal for me. It was a day when I couldn't move or wake up. I felt like I was locked up in a prison called My Body. What raised me up at that time was knitting. I grabbed the crochet I had learned from my mom when I was a kid again, sat down on the bed, and began to float without hesitation. The biggest advantage of knitting was that I could do and make anything, and it gave me a small sense of accomplishment every day. What started like that was the driving force and motivation for me to be able to re-serialize Season 2, and I was able to open a book.
After the series ended, I was once again empty, and the crochet on my desk caught my eye, and when I got crocheted again, I started creating Burnano Factory. I woven them into bulky threads that can be easily completed to capture my own colors. I was used to making and drawing characters, so I made friends with Boba, Avocado, and Fruit Ring. At that time, there were no dolls or keyrings in the industry made with eyeballs of this thick thread. That's why it attracted attention for its uniqueness (... so I got a lot of copies)
Then I had a great opportunity, and I was able to open a textile editing shop called Burnano Factory in Ssamzi-gil, Insadong, and I had a happy day with many readers and customers visiting. Then, since I run an offline shop without a break, my physical strength and body can't keep up, so I'm currently only running an online shop :-)
