Studying mathematics, is there no correct answer?

The subject of mathematics is burdensome not only for students but also for parents. There are also so many words that can be heard. Because the school teacher, the school director, and the surrounding senior parents all have their own positions.

You can pass the elementary school course lightly

Elementary school becomes the cornerstone of later courses!

Good deeds are not necessary

No, it's absolutely necessary!

Good deeds without deepening are meaningless

Good luck if you fully understand the content!

With so many different arguments pouring out about the same topic, it's just difficult to know which length to match. Furthermore, at the end of this feast of words, the words “There is no right answer to educating children” are always added. The frustrating reality is that there are so many words but no right answers, is it really the only way to take care of each person? In the midst of this, my child is one year and two years old.

There may be no right answer for every child. But there's definitely a right direction for my child. We have prepared classes for parents looking for a degree in mathematics. Through this class, we will provide a clear guide to wisely intervene in elementary school children's math studies.

Hello?

Helping elementary school students improve their math skills

I'm Liu Yu, a math lecturer.

I teach elementary school students at “Thinking Bull”, a math school where top students from Daechi-dong gather. I spend most of my time with my students, but as soon as I have a chance, I talk about math education with my parents. After a long period of observation and conversation I learned that parents' images and thoughts about studying have a profound impact on a child's math studies.

I think all parents want their kids to be a little more comfortable with math. Therefore, parents make educational choices that they think are “right.” It may be your choice to leave them alone to have fun or run the school around. We are still involved in child education in some way, and we will continue to be at the crossroads of choice every moment. If so, isn't it necessary to check at least once to see if the choice I make is really for my child's math studies?

For parents who want their kids to have confidence in math, we'll help them develop a solid study mindset.

If you want to be a long-time parent.

Even if your math scores were good in elementary school, there are more cases where you get frustrated on your first exam in middle school than you might think. It's more common for people to accept scores they haven't received before in the first practice test after being promoted to high school. If you want to raise a child who grows steadily and shines at a decisive moment rather than a child who sparkles and disappears, you have to be different from the beginning.

Elementary school parents need to draw the bigger picture. So I talk to elementary school parents about math skills. My child is still in elementary school, should I care about math skills already? Sure! Because it's the ultimate opponent a child has to deal with. It's not about elementary school students having to solve proficiency problems. This means that you should study mathematics with skills in mind, and study mathematics with skills in mind. Because like everything, the direction you take when you first start is important.

Elementary and secondary mathematics have their own roles. Of course, it all comes down to high school mathematics, but how they experience elementary and secondary mathematics determines the child's reaction when faced with high school mathematics. Here is a cool summary of everything from recommendations of textbooks to how to use them to help children learn elementary and secondary mathematics deeply and fully.

It provides clear standards for prior learning and advanced learning

As if it were a competition, I see more and more parents trying to do it sooner and more. It has become quite natural for elementary school students to advance middle and high school mathematics. However, if you just run away without clearly identifying your target point, you may get farther and farther away from where you want to go. Above all, it's easy to fall into the illusion that you're studying while doing something other than studying.

Do you have a lot of concerns about prior learning? Nowadays, I hear a lot of talk about the balance between good deeds and deepening. I will clearly state whether prior learning is essential in the current curriculum system and how far advanced learning is appropriate. Furthermore, I will share the criteria for determining whether it is OK for my child to do prior learning and advanced learning, and even the appropriate timing and method.

I'll show you how to study mathematics so that you can develop your mathematical thinking skills as much as possible.

The way to study mathematics well is simple. You can study according to the logic of mathematics. It's the same when you're learning a new concept or solving a difficult problem. If you study based on the logic of mathematics, you will always arrive at the right point, even if it seems a little slow.

To this end, it is necessary to have a process of elaborating concepts, but at the same time, it is also necessary to develop mathematical thinking skills, that is, the ability to think according to mathematical logic. You need to practice your ability to think from elementary school to be able to deal with mathematical skills. You can't deal with advanced mathematics by studying only for answers and solving problems to get used to types and procedures.

Through this class, we will introduce 4 powerful solutions to develop the ability to think. If you are a parent who knew the importance of thinking skills in studying mathematics, but were unsure about how to encourage them, I am sure you will find great help.

As is commonly heard, is mathematics something only natural children can do well? If I want my child to be a mathematician who can make a mark in human history, I might have to say “yes.” However, if the goal is not a mathematician, but a person who is proud of mathematics, the possibilities open up to everyone.

Anyone can have confidence in mathematics if they study mathematics to identify the proper direction of studying mathematics and develop the ability to think. The starting point is elementary school. The first button you put in elementary school determines math studies after secondary school.

There is no right answer to studying mathematics. But you can start making the right effort. Through this class, we will wholeheartedly help elementary school parents get off to the right start.
