3 reasons why this class is special

① Learn how to draw lines that give a retro feel

I'll show you how to draw strong and weak line drawings. There are many ways of expression, such as strength created by the degree of force applied, and shading of lines created by multiplying lines with each other.

I will also show you how to draw shadows using lines and express the texture of objects.

② Learn how to choose dull colors for a retro look

What creators are particular about when drawing illustrations is “dull color.” For “dull colors,” which bring out a retro feel, I will show you how to choose the most suitable color while looking at the overall color.

③ Learn how to draw attractive people and small objects

The people, fashion, and accessories drawn in class are retro things from the 1950s. Your ability to observe and draw small items will improve. You can learn how to pose women, draw clothes, and draw ennui expressions.

[Creator Interview]

Q. How did you start drawing?

A. I've been drawing pictures since I was able to remember. Anyway, I was a kid who liked drawing pictures and characters, and was offended by graffiti all over the house. When I was little, I tried copying girls' comics and drawing comics for my favorite anime, and I started using pen tabs when I was in high school, and I started drawing pictures by buying an iPad as a starting salary for a working person.

Q. Please tell me why you offered online classes with CLASS101.

A. There was a time when I was desperately struggling to get to my current pattern. At that time, I was just looking at, imitating, and researching illustrations by various people, and I thought it would have been nice if there was an illustration course at that time. I would like to be able to share techniques and tricks that I'm particular about with people who draw pictures and help them get to where I'm aiming for, even a little bit.
