Skills You’ll Learn
About the class
Hello, I'm Lim Hye-young, a filmmaker. Does entering a film festival seem too far and difficult for me? However, there is an easy way to enter a film festival, such as wiping a pot clean and very easily by soaking it in water. This class is for beginners who have never made a short film before, and for those who have made a short film but are having trouble entering a film festival. If you work with me on the overall production process at the same time, a short film that can enter the festival in one month will be completed in front of the students.

What makes this class special
❶ Short film production all at once with a total of 4 weeks
This class is a total of 4 weeks. 1 week of planning, 2 weeks of scripting, 3 weeks of pre-preparation work, 4 weeks of shooting, post-production, and distribution. If students work at the same time according to each week's course, a short film that can enter the film festival after one month will be completed. It's so easy, so please don't put it off until later and complete each course week by week at the same time.
❷ A class where you will be your only mentor for making short films
When it comes to entering a film festival, ordinary people think that only people who have experience making multiple short films can do it with a huge and difficult pressure, studying theoretical books, and making many short films. That's why there are so many people who can't even get started.
“Plus, the movie is a collaborative work, and I'm alone... How do I get started? There isn't a single person around me who works in movies, so I'd like to learn... I'm not bothering..”
There was a time when I was so overwhelmed. I came all the way from the province to Seoul to do a movie. I really wanted a mentor. Unfortunately, I bumped into the ground like I was on my own. So I know that eagerness very well. It's not difficult to make a short film for a film festival. There's an easy way. It's difficult because I don't know. I'd like to guide you along that easy path.
