Ⅱ <The characteristics of miraculous kanji learning>

1. Learning steps that take into account the level of difficulty according to the occurrence of kanji

The steps for creating kanji are in the order of “hieroglyphic character - governor - skeptic, formator.” At the very beginning, kanji represented characters in the shape of objects. Then, as the level of human thought increased and culture developed, it gradually changed to the meaning letter. When learning kanji, it's not very important to know whether the characters are hieroglyphics or shapers. However, the order in which kanji were created matches the order in which human thought deepened and culture developed. Considering this, teaching children who are learning kanji for the first time in the order the kanji characters were created is a very effective learning method. The order of this textbook is “a hieroglyphic character representing the shape of an object → a governor who indicates an abstract concept → a skeptic who combines meaning and meaning → a shaper who combines sound and meaning.”

2. Consider the composition principles of kanji

The hieroglyphs and the governor made the shape of an object come to mind when they see the letters. It is now also possible to know which part of an object each letter corresponds to. If you learn letters by imagining them with pictures, they will pop right into your head without having to memorize them. “Why did the letters look like that?” If you learn the letters while understanding, your imagination will also increase significantly. Even when composing letters, related characters are grouped together, and arranged in order from those close to the body to those farther away from the body, so that the order is systematic and gradual.

A meeting person is a letter created by combining meaning and meaning. It is designed to actively utilize the characteristics of a skeptic and develop reasoning skills and inference skills.

The shaper actively used this principle because it represents the meaning of one side and the other the meaning. While existing textbooks simply focus on combining synonyms with opposite words, this textbook focuses on how to easily understand sounds and how to easily understand the meaning of letters. Characters with the same meaning are grouped together and those with the same sound are grouped together so that kanji can be learned more efficiently and easily.

3. Adding meaning that you must know

One kanji has many meanings. A kanji also acts as a noun, verb, and adverb. Therefore, it is difficult to properly understand the meaning of the various life kanji in which that kanji is used by understanding only one meaning. Conventional textbooks often only provide a single representative meaning, but this textbook contains various meanings essential to daily life. For example, if you teach only the meaning of “long” from “long ()” to “long”, you cannot properly understand the meaning of “elder (),” “pros and cons (),” and “president ().” In this way, you can make richer use of kanji by including various meanings that you must know and learn all the meanings that you must know rather than just one basic one.

4. The textbook consists mainly of kanji

Learning kanji isn't just about understanding kanji. This is to develop Korean language skills and develop thinking skills by easily understanding Korean concepts. Due to the nature of the Korean language, more than 90% of the conceptual words are Chinese characters. If you know the concepts well, your thinking and logic skills will improve, and you will naturally study well. Most of the vocabulary covered in this textbook is a collection of concepts that appear in elementary school textbooks. Therefore, if you learn the kanji in this textbook, you will easily understand the concepts of textbook vocabulary.

5. Consider the kanji for water supply

Many kanji tutorials place kanji characters in alphabetical order. However, the series kanji has nothing to do with the difficulty level of the kanji, and the frequency is only taken into account. This textbook prioritizes the difficulty of kanji characters. However, we did not neglect the kanji for grade numbers. The required kanji for grades 4 to 8 were given priority consideration, and the corresponding class numbers for each kanji were listed separately. In addition, a formative assessment was included to help with the kanji proficiency test by solving practical water supply problems.

6. A fun composition to watch with parents

This textbook is designed to be easy for kids to read and fun for parents to learn. Instead of just memorizing kanji characters mechanically, I did my best to learn the characters just by looking at them by themselves. You can also have fun learning about culture and history while learning kanji by dealing with kanji common sense, quizzes, kanji and kanji stories.
