In this class, I will help you embody the image of your ideal home & room. You will learn how to come up with ideas and also how to incorporate practical DIY. Starting from building an idea to actually forming your own aesthetic room! We all deserve a space that feels cozy and comfortable! Furthermore, we will learn about lighting and changing the mood easily to match the seasons. There are lots of easy design hacks that I want to tell you about.

Classmates who are willing to redecorate their house on a low budget by themselves but do not know how.

Here is what you'll need to prepare for the class.
Any devices such as smartphones, tablets, and PC with internet connectivity.
Any devices such as smartphones, tablets, and PC that you'll be able to take a picture with.
Any writing materials such as pencils, pens, or paper.
Any graphic editing software such as Photoshop, Gimp, Pixlr, etc.
Three or more interior goods.

WHY THIS CLASS?

It is totally fine to enroll in this class even if you feel like you don't have a taste.

In this lesson, you will not only learn the basics of interior design but also the DIY design process step-by-step. I will thoroughly teach you my room decor tips to create a cozy, comfortable and clean space, designed just for you. On top of that, you can learn tips on immediately changing the mood even without changing the floor plan or the room layout.

I believe that every lesson will be full of interesting, inspiring, and creative interior design tips! I decided to make this class since I always wanted people to know the excitement and joy of redesigning their rooms! Please enjoy taking my course without feeling any pressure.

The Dear and the Bear

Hello, I am the Dear and the Bear.

I first started posting my journey of self-remodeling houses with my old, private 20-year-old house. My Instagram account is @shikasan_kumasan, and I post about interiors and lifestyles based on Japanese-style rooms. Also, I own a youtube channel called Kaguma Seikatsu with 40K subscribers, and I usually upload my daily life and transform my house decoration.

Q. How did you start interior design?

A. Self-renovating the entire house was a boom when I first moved from a condominium to a second-hand house in the suburbs of Tokyo. At first, I was not a big fan of my own house since I used to live in a nice, clean condo. However, I decided to challenge myself by redesigning my own home, and during the renovation process, I enjoyed decorating the room to my own taste. And finally, when my expectation became true, I was so proud of myself for making changes to get closer to my "ideal home". I was once a beginner too. I became an expert in this industry after various experiences of trial and error.

Q. Why did you decide to make an online class with CLASS101?

A. Well, simple. I wanted to share the tips and hacks I had gained throughout my own experiences of trial and error as I mentioned before.

Q. Which part did you put the most effort into when you were planning the class?

A. Since all the houses have different structures, I considered a lot about how I could explain my tips and points easily based on the process of changing my home. I also put a lot of effort to create the lesson video with time management so that you can watch it comfortably.

Q. What kind of experience do you want the Classmates to have through this class?

A. I have enriched my heart by developing “my ideal living space” with a simple DIY that does not involve changing the floor plan or structure. I want people who are not satisfied with their current space to experience the joy of redesigning their rooms too.
