About the class

This is a “Makaju” craft class for classmates who want every prop to be full of their own personality. There are probably many classmates who have heard about the “macaju” technique for the first time or are unfamiliar, but if you start this class and “macaju” for the first time, you will think that it is a craft technique that is not too difficult. In Korea, the “macaju” technique is well known as a craft technique where you can differentiate your own props by drawing the initials of your favorite character or name on items such as bags and wallets. I have the impression that it's complicated and difficult, but it's easy to learn with me in this class, so why not take this opportunity to make unique props in a variety of ways? Furthermore, you can also present a macaju craft work made with your loved ones in mind, right? So, let's get started!

Synthetic leather and fabrics are very sensitive to heat, so if they are exposed to direct inertia for a long time or are directly exposed to heat, the material or product may be deformed, discolored, or deteriorated, so please be careful when using and storing.

When storing, avoid places with high temperatures or humidity, and store in a shaded place with good ventilation.
Due to the nature of the manufacturing process of leather, contact with moisture (water vapor, rain, sweat, etc.) for a long time may cause odor to clothing or other materials that come into contact with it due to friction, and discoloration (tanning), bleaching, cracking, and wrinkles due to sunlight, so please be careful when using and storing.
Foil-coated leather is a product with foil coating on the surface of the leather, and the surface may peel or discolor when used, so please be careful when using it.

I've loved drawing since I was a kid, and my dream was to be a painter or designer since I was in elementary school. After majoring in design in college, I realized my dream and became a web designer, but my design work limited to the web didn't fully satisfy my desire for design.

I wanted to draw my own pictures, and I was always sensitive to trends, and I was really fascinated when I first learned about “macaju.” Being able to express my own signature on my props in a unique way was fascinating.

After learning macaju crafting techniques and putting my own personality into my props, I was able to draw macaju one by one and present it to my family and friends. After all this time, I am now able to specialize in macaju classes.

The positive response from the students who visited my studio and took classes continued, and I was encouraged to create a class in Class 101. I hope all of my classmates can feel and enjoy the charm of macaju while easily following along at home.

Even after completing the class, I hope you will continue to experience the charm of macaju by drawing your own favorite characters using the basic techniques of macaju crafts learned in class. Thank you!
