About the class

This course was when we first started working 'Wouldn't it be easier to work if there were lectures like this?”It started with that in mind. I went through a lot of trial and error while communicating directly with clients and designing, but I had never learned these anywhere.

Brand design is not my own work; it is a process of creating the face of a brand by communicating and collaborating with people in different fields. Since they have different areas of expertise, their perspectives on a single brand are bound to be different. Therefore, when you design, you may experience requests that you don't understand, or where it becomes difficult to design according to your own wishes.

This course teaches how to communicate with various people and accurately identify the direction they want, as well as how to accurately express the direction that classmates want and how to express their desired direction with design. I hope that through this course, you will move away from being a designer who only does what your boss or client tells you to, and grow into a designer who can accurately and convincingly convey designs.

Pre-course notes

  • I'll be using Adobe Illustrator 2023 from the middle of the course.
  • Adobe Illustrator can be used in both Windows OS and Mac OS environments, but in-class exercises take place in a Mac OS environment.

This class captured the process of working in a design agency. The first meeting with the client starts by identifying their desired requirements and planning direction.

I will explain the flow of all the concerns that designers have to do by solving them in the course. I'll share O7's unique work process and know-how to listen to client stories and visualize them.


I'm not going to tell you about designing while sitting at a computer. Only in this class can you find know-how that you can't hear anywhere else, such as what needs are hidden in the brand planning book given by the client, what meaning can be derived from research, how to derive a concept, and how to express a concept through design.

It's a course created by a design company. There are already many courses that teach excellent individual know-how in the field of brand design courses, but there is still not much content that is taught systematically at the company level, so I decided to plan this course.


Q. Is there anyone in particular who would like to recommend this class?

Recommended for junior and senior designers working for design companies. It's important to be good at your role in a design company, but you can only grow if you have a perspective that knows how to understand the whole process!


Q. What are your dreams for the future?
