About the class

Hallo I'm SMMT working as a DJ and producer at Higher Music. I'm really happy to greet you on CLASS101.

In my production class I'll teach you how to create beats and express tones according to various moods such as hip-hop, jazz, R&B, house, techno, and lo-fi without being limited to a single genre. It will be conducted in simple and easy-to-understand language so that even those who are new to making music can easily follow along, so please feel free to enjoy it.

Before creating a song, I'll explain in an easy-to-understand manner the selection of equipment, drum sequencing by genre, the concept and sampling of grooves, and the completion process of the song. again We are planning to present a project of songs worked on with many artists such as Loco, Big Nati, Sik-K, pH-1, Blase, and Kim Ha-on, to Class101 students only.

You can feel a sense of accomplishment through the process of learning step by step on tasks that have been too difficult for a while with goals that can be achieved slowly. If you follow my classes slowly, I think even those who are new to making music will be able to become musicians through steady practice. Are you ready to enjoy Wangang with me?

  • Creator working environment: Macbook pro 16” /CPU - M1 Pro/ SSD - 2TB/RAM - 32GB

What makes this class special

❶ Collaborate with top hip-hop musicians

I generously revealed the background of my career as a DJ in various genres and my own production know-how and techniques created through collaborative experiences with musicians of different colors. Collaborated with various artists such as Loco, Big Nati, Sik-K, pH-1, and Blase Songs from my first album 'Mr. Hollywood' We'll take a closer look and solve your usual questions.

❷ Reasonable equipment purchase and cost saving tips

Even if you start out as a hobby, the price of equipment and the equipment are just too expensive, but famous producers buy and use expensive plug-ins. If you want to buy such plug-ins, it feels like a big barrier when you learn that the price you purchased the equipment is nothing.

We have prepared lessons so that you can reduce unnecessary expenses and create complete music through reasonable equipment purchase tips and the process of making good songs with only built-in plug-ins without buying expensive plug-ins. I'll also introduce paid plugins that I've used and are useful to know.
