About the class
Hello, I'm 'Team Leader Kim Bo-Na of Silicon Valley' who wants to help you seize global opportunities. I've been working for American companies for almost 20 years, and until a while ago I was the head of the design team at Facebook and Instagram's US headquarters.
What's your dream?
Since I was a child, I had a dream of working with diverse talents in a global company and creating products used by people all over the world. I think there are many of you who dream of expanding into a wider world. Maybe you're thinking about moving overseas, or maybe you're thinking about getting a job at a foreign company in Korea. Our dreams are brilliant, but when we take our first steps, what we worry about the most is our English ability. I was born in Korea and went to high school, but I was able to face new opportunities every time I improved my English skills.
As a result, I now receive an annual salary of over 800 million won and have been lucky enough to work with talented people from around the world.
If you are dreaming of getting a job abroad or moving to a foreign company, I can help! It's difficult to get a job in Korea, but I think getting a job in a foreign country is too overwhelming. I'll share with you step by step the past of trying to get a job at various companies in the US, and the employment and negotiation tips I gained from hiring as a team leader.
Even when we communicate in Korean, we don't use expressions we usually use with friends in our resumes, cover letters, or job interviews. Similarly, English also has useful expressions often used in these situations. I'm going to share these English expressions with you.
We designed it so that you can focus on getting a job without worrying about English.
I hope you will study English expressions frequently used when getting a job with me, get tips on employment in general, and make global opportunities your own.
