About the class
English for business use with rice table,
Learn strategically in a short period of time!
Have you given up on foreign languages, especially English, because you don't have natural talent? It's also the phrase I've heard the most while coaching a number of corporate executives, politicians, and celebrities.
In fact, there was a member who was upset that “I spent 3 hours a day studying English 3 times a week after work while going to work, but my English skills were still in place.” Did that member also not improve their English skills because they lacked a natural sense of language?
We have to work, have appointments, exercise, and develop other forms of self-development. In a situation where I can't hold on to English all day, should I give up English in this life?
English ≠ The sum of the “words” you know
I remember being surprised to actually see a famous English teacher say, “English ends when you know a lot of words.” Is that really true?
There's a saying, “Even if a bead stands, it must be sewn to be a treasure.” It is said that native speakers know about 70,000 words on average. However, there is a stark difference between passive vocabulary, which is nothing more than “knowing” meaning, and active vocabulary with sufficient understanding to use.
What's more, native speakers, but are we going to be upset? Rather, the key is how to connect and use individual expressions according to a certain flow of thought.
K-workers hit by modern life
Let's learn today and use it tomorrow!
I told you about an example of a member who studied English hard for 3 years but didn't improve her skills, right? The reason for this is that you work in the financial sector, and you have studied mainly on reading (reading comprehension) using fingerprints related to space science. Because of the nature of my work, I need to actively communicate, even though I'm in a hurry to improve my speaking (speaking) skills. It's a case that clearly shows the selection of probable learning topics that are likely to happen in the workplace and the reason why you should study in a way that you can use after studying.
The learning of working people must be different. Studying topics and vocabulary you don't know when you'll use them, and thinking that one day will happen if you work hard is nothing more than a delusion.

Notes before taking the course
Along with the scenario learning method, if you understand the concept of chunking, you will be able to master classes more effectively. It's an English learning method I devised based on cognitive psychology, and so many people, including myself, have seen a great effect in improving their English skills based on this principle. Please check the link below for the learning method.
An English learning method based on cognitive psychology, Chunking!
2 reasons why this class is special
❶ Simulation learning method
My classes are based on real stories. There have been at least one moment when you've been worried about English in the workplace, but it's important to try assigning “me” to the situation yourself while understanding why the performer was worried. It's like a movie star acting in a role.
The basic frame of my class consists of understanding what business goals need to be achieved, organizing thoughts according to them, selecting expressions to be used, and extracting them as an appropriate type of output.
In this way, if actors practice English while simulating business situations that are likely to happen in the future, they will be able to prepare and cope on their own, even if the purpose or form of communication will change later, just as actors rehearse to act better in their roles. In other words, anticipating specific situations that may occur and preparing in advance how to respond to those situations is the core of my classes.
❷ Using the real stories of K-workers
Contextualized Business English
Let's think about a real work scene? For example, they need to partner with famous overseas brands, make suggestions via email, schedule meetings, exchange and confirm opinions through meetings, and persuade others by presenting suggestions. In other words, communication takes place both in words and in writing, depending on what method is most effective. This is workplace communication. This class captures this very kind of workplace communication. Each lesson is contextually connected, so it's easy for you to understand the context and immerse yourself in the lesson.

From a domestic interpreter and translator
Instructor Park Hye-rim, who specializes in business English
I'm a domestic translator and translator. I hadn't even gone on a typical trip to an English-speaking country until I was 27 years old. Of course, I have no experience as a language student or exchange student, and I'm not an English-related major. I didn't grow up in an environment where I could learn English naturally.
Nevertheless, I was able to pass the Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation after 6 months, which requires at least 1 year of preparation, and I successfully graduated from Monterey Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation (now Middlebury Graduate School of International Studies), which is one of the world's top 3 graduate schools of interpretation and translation.
Since then, I have been active on various stages as an interpreter and translator.
As an official translator of the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics Promotion Committee, I traveled all over the world to negotiate with IOC members.
I also worked as an interpreter for various broadcasts including Superstar K3.
Also, in the “English King” project, which was carried out as a special project for 100 days at SBS Stockings, the mentee I coached won the final victory. I tried English coaching for the first time, and I don't know how happy I was to get the best results. Then, as a result of this, I began coaching and creating English learning content in earnest.
Thanks to this, I was grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts in lectures and broadcasts, and in addition to interpreting and translating, I also worked as an English MC at prestigious events.
I can confidently say that the reason I was able to successfully carry out all of these opportunities is because of my learning method!
