About the class

Hakuna Matata!

Everyone has heard this word on TV and on social media at least once!

Did you know that it's African Swahili? In this class, you'll learn Swahili, the largest language in Africa.

The only African major in Korea and a creator from the East African Department of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, he actually lived in Tanzania while studying abroad and had deep communication with local people. Let's enjoy learning the new second language, “Swahili”, along with a real African story told by Momoa-sam, a Korean who traveled all over Africa!

Are you planning a trip to Tanzania, Africa sometime in the future?

Do you want to make your trip to Africa even more special by learning simple Swahili before your trip?

Or are you looking for a special second language of your own?

If so, I think this class is perfect for you! I've been dreaming of being an “African teacher” since I was in middle school, and I'm a person who is serious about Africa enough to go to college and go to an “African language department.” I studied as an exchange student in Tanzania, quit my job as a school teacher, and left Zongju in Africa for 3 months.

I'll teach you Swahili in a fun way with Ushindi, a Korean who spent her life studying in Tanzania, the home of Swahili and went on a trip to Africa, with her adaptor to Tanzania. After taking this class, you'll be able to speak simple Swahili.
