About the class

Hello, I'm 'Chum Mom', CEO of a top clothing brand and mother of two.

I'm a working mom raising two children who runs the clothing brand company “Mamang Salon”. The reason I dared to say hello to working moms is because I wanted to give working moms the courage to be good at raising children.

I was warned about the risk of a miscarriage soon after I became pregnant with my first child, but I couldn't turn away from the responsibilities that lay in front of me, so I got ringer at the hospital all night after work, was discharged early in the morning, and went back to work in the morning to spend the pregnancy period. As a result, the fear, despair, sorrow, and discomfort of being a mother naturally permeated my life. I thought I'd made the decision after thinking enough about getting pregnant, but after getting pregnant, some days were uncomfortable being a mother, some days were exciting, and some days were scary and burdensome. This was even more so after giving birth, when all the responsibilities came at once.

But when I changed my mind, everything changed. By looking at the situation positively and thinking differently, I was able to take initiative in parenting instead of being passively drawn to parenting by children. I'll tell you all the parenting know-how that changed my life 180 degrees.

Having caught both work and parenting rabbits,

I think everyone knows that reading books is very important for children. This is because they learn right and wrong through books and develop vocabulary and imagination. If you want to raise a child who has a habit of reading a lot, various efforts from parents are necessary in their lives.

In my 10 years of raising children, I have worked hard to develop children's interest in books by changing bookshelves 7 times. So I can confidently tell you how to increase children's interest in books.

However, have a bookcase that fits the child's eye level

2. Place the book loosely so you can easily take it out

3. Change the location of the book every week so that people are interested in a variety of books

4. Provide a cushion, mat, and table in front of the bookcase so you can focus on the book

5. Stay in a space with books for a long time so that you can experience books naturally

6. In order to develop the ability to choose books on their own, visit bookstores every week and have them buy books of their own choosing

The habit of reading a book cannot be bought even with a complete collection of hundreds or tens of millions of won, and it is impossible to create it with just a few book reading demonstrations shown by parents. It is created through the efforts of parents who take a short break in reality every day.

In order to change a child, I must change. However, in the busy reality of working and raising children, this story must have been like catching a floating cloud. Through this class, I'll tell you how I made two children fall in love with books while running a clothing brand business and how I was able to easily do this kind of parenting.

Even today, all working moms, working dads, and all of you who are struggling and lost in the real world of parenting can do it <hectic parenting>.
