A business that started with a grain of rice

From making rice cakes and rice desserts to gifts, one-day classes, and workshop management

There are already many classes that teach how to make mochi.

So I wanted to tell a slightly different story.

“How can I make my own product from the rice cake I've learned?”

“If I want to sell something I've made to someone for the first time, what should I do first?”

“If I start a small workshop, where should I meet customers?”

I, too, wasn't someone who knew how to run a workshop from the beginning.

I started learning about mochi because I wanted to make a good snack for my child, and by selling mochi made that way one by one, I now have Song Al Song Al Mochi FactoryIt has come into operation.

Along the way, they made gifts, held one-day classes, and sold products online. I started attending classes at institutions, and I also started teaching our rice cakes to foreigners.

I found and applied for government support projects myself, and I also tried funding by making a kit.

There were good things, but there was also a lot of trial and error.

So this class didn't just include simple recipes.

PART 1. Mochi & Rice Dessert Practical Class

I try to make my own, from rainbow rice cakes and flower song buns to baked bread and rice wine bread.

It doesn't end with making How to organize gifts and gift items, including packaging and porcelain packaging, and how I use them in my actual workshop.

PART 2. Starting a rice cake factory A to Z

This part is a little special Interview formatI made it with

I'll honestly share the stories I experienced and experienced firsthand while running the workshop.

Where did you find government support projects,

How did Happy Bean Funding start,

How did Naver Reservations and Workplace run classes,

How was it sold at Smart Store and Ideas,

How did attending an institution start,

Even what platform was used for classes aimed at foreigners.

It's not startup information compiled by searching Experience and know-how I've gained from doing it myselfI will focus on

The goal of this class is not to “open a workshop right away.”

You don't have to start with everything from scratch.

You can start by making a proper mochi,

It's also a good idea to order a small gift.

You can open a one-day class or try selling your first product online.

importantly Finding a small starting point that I can doI think so.

So at the end, we've compiled a story based on actual startup experiences so you can create your first product and first customer.

Those who want to go one step further from learning about mochi,

If you want to make your own mochi & rice dessert as a product,

And for those who dream of having their own small workshop one day

The story of the first path I walked

I hope it helps a little realistically.
